Afternoon all, I've got 2 cracked front springs on my gs sport, so looking at replacement springs all round. From what I gather the sport spec was lowered by 25mm when compared to std car, I can get lowering springs at 25mm and 35mm I tempted to go for the latter however it only shows the 35mm springs fit the 1st gen vs but according to Sewell Lexus parts diagram the springs both front and rear are the same part numbers no matter which gen you compare them to 1993 right through to 2004. Can anyone tell me if there are any issues with this, as my understanding is that if the part numbers are the same then the aftermarket springs are made to the same alignment on the strut seats just a shorter coil. All sorted, the difference were new one us non dimming. Simply stripped both mirrors down and swapped the wiring loom over.

Hi guys, I've just replaced my broken passengers mirror with a unit from a breakers yard that's come from another mk2, now the only issue is the wiring plug which is smaller on the new one when compared to the old and has fewer wires. Has anyone come across this previously?? The new unit plug will not fit into the wiring harness so I'm wondering if I could cut the plug off the old unit and marry it up to the corresponding wires on the new. THe new unit has the following colour cables Red/silver White/silver Black/silver Green/black x2 Blue/silver Green/silver Any help much appreciated Sam

Morning, Had a search and found a few double din installs but nothing that answersnmy question, which is - is it possible to take out the std radio n climate unit and swap it for the sat nav head unit? Is the wiring loom simply plug n play with the current CD changer, except adding the loom from the sat nat disc reader. Many thanks in advance Sam

Hi all Had a search but no definitive answer, the back light bulb for the above is out it but I'm stumped as to the type or part number of its replacement. The little orange light comes on when in operation but no backlighting when the side / main lights are on. I've got a couple of other bulbs out which have been ordered via the dealer but we're both stumped as to the above. Any help appreciated guys. Cheers Sam

Hi folks, just collected my gs 300 sport from Livingston, feel I got a real bargain. Needs the body work tidying up a little and the audio display fixing as no display but other than that runs smoothly. Going through the history of the car and its got loads of stamps in the service book along with receipts. Also noticed there's a Lexus owners club sticker on the car. Regards Sam
