  1. My 01 SC430 shows a message “can’t read disc”. I replaced the drive ans still get the same message. If its not the trunk sat nav control unit fault has anyone any suggestions as to where I check next
  2. I have acquired a replacement sat nav disc player which needs swapped for the faulty one on my trunk. Does anyone know how to remove the carpet from the trunk and remove the player. Looks like plastic plugs holding the carpet but afraid to prise them off in cast they are screws. i am a complete novice so a step by step guide would be ideal thanks George
  3. My Drive located in the boot/ trunk of my 2001 SC does not work. I can get replacements on line but none for 2001 model (2002, 2004 and 2006) will these work in my car as it would facilitate using more recent map cd’s any advice appreciated

  5. I have just bought a May 2001 registered SC430 and there is no sat nav disc in it. i am told that in order to buy the correct disc for it I need to know if its gen 1, gen 2 etc. can anyone advise me what disc I need please
  6. Belfast is in the UK so there is no problem, just buy the car (Stirling) drive to the ferry(Stranraer or Liverpool) and go home. V5 tax etc all the same from Swansea. Regards Geporge
  7. Does anyone know how I can use the radio on my 07 LS 250, if I switch off the engine the radio goes off too and I can't get it on until I switch on. other cars I have had work with the key turned 1 click in the ignition !
  8. I have never tried it but I understand it does. The theory is yay if a magnetite placed on the fuel line as close to the entry to start as possible it in some way aligns the content of the fuel to make it combust more efficiently
  9. I have used the magnetic gizmo on three cars now and have found it work (probably why manufacturers don't fit it, keeps the petrol income up for the Government). I get 3-4 mpg difference on petrol. It has paid for itself over and over. I have a petrol; IS SE-L 250 and would like to know where the fuel pipe entrant the engine spark is closest, please help :hocus-pokus:
