  1. After some further reading into to subject this is perhaps the best oil there is on the market right now. http://xenum.com/en/
  2. This is what I have been using for the last 20K miles. I change mine every 5K miles and its been okay ( a rare top up needed from time to time after " track days"). I might try the Mobil 1 or stick to this one as the quality of Castrol in Eastern Europe is terrible.
  3. Thanks for the quick replies. I dont live in the UK (10w40 is available over here) .The handbook does advise to use 5w30 all the time regardless of temperatures (better for cold starts) etc. Do you guys have any preferences of brands - mobil1, castrol and so on ? Cheers !!!
  4. Hello lads, the winter over here is pretty cold so I have been using 5w30 for quite some time now. However the summer tends to get really hot as well so I have been thinking about trying some thicker oil like 10w60 next year. Has anyone run oil of this viscosity in their Fs ? Could you please share any experience on which brands of oil have you been most satisfied by in 5w30 and 10w60 ( if anyones has tried). Cheers!
  5. Haha I dont want to get rid of it. I just want to remove it temporarily while changing the tint foil on the window. iI turned out it doesnt get in the way while placing the foil but it does limit the space for removing the foil.
  6. Hi guys, any tips or instructions on how to remove the middle brake light that sits just behind the back window ?
  7. So I did go to Lexus today. The car needed exactly 400ml of 5w30. After the top up there havent been any issues. Did speak to another ISF owner and yes the car tends to do that after 2-3 days of abusive driving or track days.
  8. No not really. I did go back to the same spot and same thing happened for a few seconds and went out again. Tried a different one with a similar slope degree and again light goes on for a few seconds and goes out. I'll leave it overnight and check the oil level on the stick in the morning and probably go to Lexus after that.
  9. Hi guys, Im driving a 2012 IS-F with 28 000 Miles on it (45 000 km). Few hours ago while parking on a relatively not so steep street the low oil level light came on for about 5 seconds and disappeared. The oil level itself is fine when checked the oil stick and the light has not come on again ever since. Any ideas? Faulty sensor maybe ?
