More key problems.  I have now a RX300 ( 2005) and need a replacement battery for the Key,  The original says

CR1618    Battery type

But no shop or on E bay has any on sale or gives an equivalent!

Can anyone please help as i only have the one key and the battery is nearly flat, i.e have to be right up to car to operate.

Also have blade ( mettr part only) from 2nd key, where can i best purchase a replacement key, Lexus prohibitive.

I have the original  key blade and empty case for my Lexus Rx300, anyone now where i can get it repaired.  

Hurrah Sunshine, getting ready for outing   Recon must be one of the the best 20 yr old Ls400 in the midlands?  Please send pics of your to compare. Fitted with wood facia etc, Bonnet Emblem, chrome grill and detailed wheel centres, chrome wheel arch trims, drives great no known problems.

Well, it passed.  But with observations.  One tyre near limit ( no prob)  but also some wear on steering column upper bush!!!  not sure what that involves in work and cost for aLs400 1997 model, anyone any idea please.

Thanks Simon  Wood Kit arrived today.  Looks superb, will have to wait a few days to fit though as off for a Jolly to Germany.  Will post pics asap.

Wood kit payed for, so should be on way soon.  The sample was brilliant so am very hopeful.  It has taken me nearly 8 months to source a suitable kit but as said this look good.  Will post Pic when fitted

Hi Steve did you ever find the Lexus Torch in your shed?    Now have 2 Ls400's both without the torch.  

Just collected  my second Ls400, ( still have the 1997 one and going great ) this time a 1999, but sadly no manuals.. Anyone got a Owner Manual and more important the Sat Nav manual please willing to pay.
