Got some flaking around the valves and some kerbing.

I like the style of the wheels but I also think deep dish rims suit the GS models.

Just had a wash and polish.

Needs new alloys or refurb originals. What are your thoughts?

Yours was a very nice RX, where is it going next? Make sure to post some pics of the CLK, that's a big engine in a relatively small car so it must really shift!

Well I have enjoyed my 5 years on the LOC and my 5 years with the RX and some time with an LS400 but alas I have now bought a Mercedes CLK430 Avantgarde in black.

Really enjoying the car and a bit different from the high up position of the RX but the power is amazing for such a big coupe.

I will look in from time to time

It's your car. The ammount of people on here that try to convince other people about what they should and should not do to their OWN cars really makes me laugh. It is YOUR car and YOU do what YOU want to it.

I have used nearly all the stuff on the market and like Kam I tend to think that Meguirs is the best out there without going over the top on prices.

Could have been worse could have gone for the piercings like this one

Sorry to hear about this.

Just as a cautionary measure when you report it to the insurance just make sure that if you have made any "modifications" to the engine that they have been informed by you about them. If you have not told them and they send an assessor to check the damage and he see's any mods then they will deny your claim

So check before he comes :winky:

Push the gear stick over to M position and then use the buttons on the steering wheel as your gears Tiptronic The gear you select will come up on your dash as you change gear up or down 1 2 3 etc.

As ihpj states it is like a paddle shift
