  1. Do'nt think I would pay to line the pockets of a child molester. Once yes but twice plus paying out the other kids family to keep quiet is a bit too much for me.
  2. Chip is contracted to recommend it by Mothers! Surely to goodness you can see the marketing strategy behind that one? Yes "surely to goodness" I can but Chip Foose is not going to put his reputation behind a crap product! Surely to goodness you can see that.
  3. I saw the pics of the white GTR that you detailed Very imressive. Which polish / waxes did you use. I have had dark coloured cars before and I find it's always easier to get a deeper shine. The white although I am happy with the shine and finish I get from Meguirs is always more work. If you click on my RX300 CLICK for pics link and click on the Spring clean collection I would like your comments please. Terry
  4. Over the years I've tried most of them but I keep going back to Meguirs. Real easy to use and always a great finish. The one I have'nt tried which I am led to believe is excellent is Mothers, very big in the States and if Chp Foose recommends it then it should be good. But like anything it is what you are comfortable with No doubt others will come along with their favourites.
  5. Bolt pattern is the PCD It is 5 X 114.3 That is 5 holes spaced at 114.3mm The difference between the normal spacer and hub centric is that the hub centric one set at your centre bore size means that it cannot move off centre. The normal spacer just sits on the face of the drum so is not as secure or accurate. Terry
  6. Search ebay for HUB CENTRIC spacers ( they will help stop wheel wobble a lot better than normal spacers) Your required thickness i.e 10mm 15mm etc. Make sure that they are PCD 114.3 and centre bore 60.1 Regarding the size of the wheel studs phone your local Lexus dealer for technical spec unless one of the IS lads on here has that info. Terry
  7. Not many Soarer owners on here 'cos they have their own site. ....Link here
  8. For more info on the SC400 take a look at thr toyota Soarer site. Good luck with the conversion. Terry
  9. The RX is pretty much bulletproof with no known reliability issues. Just make sure she is fed and watered when required. As you said it drives nice and the cambelt has been changed at the dorrect interval. The mileage is'nt high for its age, just make sure that service history is okay and she will keep driving as good as new for many more years. I've had mine for over 5 years and she still drives like a new car that's why I can't get rid of it 'cos there is'nt anything better to replace it! Hope this helps Terry P.S. Welcome to LOC
  10. Make - Lexus Model - RX 300 Year - 00> PCD - 5x114 Offset - 38 to 45 Bore - 60.1 Make - Lexus Model - IS 200 Year - 99> PCD - 5x114 Offset - 38 to 45 Bore - 60.1
  11. This is all linked to ECU I do know that a very upmarket solution is available from a LOC member so it can be done if you want it
  12. Sat Nav will not work in the UK You would have to have an aftermarket conversion. Changing the DVD / CD will not do the trick You will also need to get rear fogs fitted and get a transponder for the radio
  13. It usually means that it will not show up on a HPI check as ever being stolen. So you would not have to declare it if you sold it on
  14. Some LEX here.......linky
  15. nice wheels but I would think it will look better lowered
  16. When you open the reply box. Above you will see boxes with b i u aA smiley + The box you need is the next one 7th along it says insert image
  17. The Suzuki Swift Sport model wheel fitment is................PCD - 5x114 Offset - 38 to 45 Bore - 60.1
  18. The Toyota Camry is the same engine But 'cos the RX is four wheel drive. I have tiptronic on the steering wheeel as well as auto box So maybe you can look at getting a Harrier G package import and trying that but I assume you will need steering wheel etc. So probably a big job. The tiptronic is great if I use it in conjunction with the overdrive and power button. It will take off a lot quicker than any standard RX Plus the K & N Induction kit helps!
  19. Mainly in the US and mainly with the 2.4 ltr. 2 wheel drive. Not heard of many problems with the 3 ltr 4wd UK and Jap versions.
  20. Fergie leads the way. An old fashioned no nonsense manager that does'nt need so called directors of football hanging around getting paid for nothing. He always get results using experience and youth. The only manager anywhere near his style is David Moyes. Grant going back to Chelsea will mean Abramovich eating humble pie and I cannot see that happening. Poor Tony Adams sacked too. Harry Redknapp completely strips him of a team he is given no money to spend and they wonder why he does'nt get results!!!!! Rafa on the verge of cracking up and rambling on about who knows what. Joe Kinear in hospital 'cos he can't take the pressure. Roy Keane could'nt hack it at Sunderland!! Sparky has got billions to spend and buys "Bellamy" :shutit: All this happening before you speak about a footballer!!!!
  21. Because you are going to revert it back to two seperate dwellings You will need an inspection and building regs. If you are going to sell one or both of the properties then it would come up on a mortgage application so it could delay any sale. Just get in touch with your local council. They will send somebody out to advise. Terry
