i swapped my 200 for the 300. no regrets at all. only gripe is it is an auto. would have prefered a manual.

Hi, A local dealer/fitter wanted £430 for eibach springs fitted( including price of springs)on my IS300. This also includes camber adjustment and 4 wheel alignment. He also told me that the springs wouldn't settle and hence the alignment has to be done as soon as they are fitted. A bit different from what I have been reading over here. Any suggestions? What do you think of the price? PS: The springs are £175+vat. Rakesh. :)

Congrats on your new motor. U will love it. Did u get it from a lexus dealer? If so they should give you a one year warranty on the car even if the original warranty expires earlier. You should have signed a warranty record and a copy would have been given to you with top up over the existing warranty on the car.

I have got a 2002 IS300 with styling kit. I have got headlamp washers on mine. I would speak to Lexus GB if I were you as you should have headlamp washers with HID lamps. Have a look at mine

I already have an IS200 sport. My plan was to trade in and get an IS300/ to S/C the car. Mine is a 2001 Y reg. How much do you reckon I will lose out when I trade in the car?

Hi, Thanks for all your suggestions. I am not concerned about what is under the hood, but how it performs on the road. As Fargo said. IS 300 has more options of modding. I have driven the IS300 but not the IS200s/c. Matbe I will come to one of the meets and get a chance. I have driven manuals all this time but I wouldnt mind an auto. Hmmm.... This is pushing me seriously towards the 300 side.

Hi all, I am in a dilemma whether to supercharge my IS 200 or buy an IS300. Various factors come into account- fitting a supercharger, insurance costs. Still not able to decide on which one?
