i swapped my 200 for the 300. no regrets at all. only gripe is it is an auto. would have prefered a manual.

Hi, A local dealer/fitter wanted £430 for eibach springs fitted( including price of springs)on my IS300. This also includes camber adjustment and 4 wheel alignment. He also told me that the springs wouldn't settle and hence the alignment has to be done as soon as they are fitted. A bit different from what I have been reading over here. Any suggestions? What do you think of the price? PS: The springs are £175+vat. Rakesh. :)

Congrats on your new motor. U will love it. Did u get it from a lexus dealer? If so they should give you a one year warranty on the car even if the original warranty expires earlier. You should have signed a warranty record and a copy would have been given to you with top up over the existing warranty on the car.

I have got a 2002 IS300 with styling kit. I have got headlamp washers on mine. I would speak to Lexus GB if I were you as you should have headlamp washers with HID lamps. Have a look at mine

I got mine from a company called fasterfilters in scotland. Their website is www.fasterliters.co.uk. But they dont have the filter for the IS200 displayed on their website. Mail them at sales@fasterfilters.co.uk quoting the part number 33-2845. payment is through paypal. Got mine in a couple of days.

I already have an IS200 sport. My plan was to trade in and get an IS300/ to S/C the car. Mine is a 2001 Y reg. How much do you reckon I will lose out when I trade in the car?

Hi, Thanks for all your suggestions. I am not concerned about what is under the hood, but how it performs on the road. As Fargo said. IS 300 has more options of modding. I have driven the IS300 but not the IS200s/c. Matbe I will come to one of the meets and get a chance. I have driven manuals all this time but I wouldnt mind an auto. Hmmm.... This is pushing me seriously towards the 300 side.

Hi, Happened to attend the Lexus Ride and Drive conducted by Lexus Liverpool at Knowsley Hall premises. Was fantastic. Got to drive all models of lexus( I mean proper rally and off road driving B) ) Did any one of you guys attend the show. They sent me a letter saying they are planning another one in April. Really impressed by their service( and the cars :P ) Really considering to buy the IS 300 now.

Hobbies: Cars, Travelling( obviously in my IS), chinese kung fu, music ang going through LOC Planning on mods for my car: supercharger, bodykit (or maybe an IS300) GREAT topic.

thanks for your replies mates. TDI does gold discount, dont they? will be taking one soon. not sure whether to go for TRD front spoiler or the TTE bumper. will the headlamp washers be able to be added to the TTE bumper? do all these parts come colour coded? mine is plat ice.

Hi guys, Where can you get TRD bodykit( I mean the front spoiler,sport grille, side skirts,rear skirt) in UK from? I own an IS200 Sport and hence wouldnt need the lip spoiler. How much would I have to part with for these items. Thanks for your replies. Rak.
