Things are great thanks guys.....and yes I will be going to JAE, but only on the Sunday, so I will pop and see you all. Yes, ive been tinkering with the Zed, but not much...just a straight through true dual DC Sports Exhaust, HKS Racing Suction Kit, Plugs, Carbon Air Diversion Plate, Carbon Engine Cover, Greddy Informeter, Brembo Discs and DS2500 Pads....you know, just the basics (thats where it starts ) Ive got myself a Skyline aswell which were playing with just a little.....should be finished for Trax....its basically a road legal (just) track car.....heres a pic of it in the workshop undergoing refit.... See you all soon chaps. Take it easy !!
  3. Hey strangers.... Just passing through, thought i would stop off in here and say Hi to a few folk who remember me...... HI Pete
  4. the quoted BHP figures were actually at the rear wheel. These figures were achieved using a downhill dynomometer with rear wind stabilisation, a HKS F-Con Pro V (mounted in the dash basket) and weetabix :D :D :D
  5. Ive been asked to post a pic of my motors, which one do you prefer? 12/2001 Lexus IS200 Supercharged. Rear Wheel Drive, about 250 odd BHP, nice car...I miss it cos its now nearly standard...... 11/2003 Nissan 350Z GT. Rear Wheel Drive, about 300BHP, V6 3.5 litre Beast.....I Love it ! - Drifts Easy ! 06/1969 Opel GT - Restoration Project - gonna be a sweet ride by end of summer, Rear Wheel Drive, 180 BHP in NA mode with basic carb setup (Weber 48 side draught/blueprint engine, loads done so far....) My First Runabout. 1970 Rear Wheel Drive, 0.00152 BHP, cornered and handled very tight. :D
  6. I will be there as usual, but with the 350z Owners Club. Im sure I will find some time to come over and say hello and annoy you all at some point in the proceedings. Save me a sausage on the barbie please.
  7. Not Normal !!! My Nanna's Bingo Wings were bigger !!! :D :D :D
  8. Mines up for sale, im just standardising it, but she has definately been looked after. I would take 8,200 for it if it is a cash sale.
  9. 1. Will the Tezza gearbox fit directly to the 3S-GTE ?
  10. Could someone please email me the directions of where to go.... Ive looked all through the posts, and on other sites and cant find them. Its bad enough now that Im on dial-up, mega slow or what !!
  11. Well Im travelling down on Friday with a few from TOC. Save me 2 decent camping spots please chaps
  12. Well, whoever did this knew exactly what they were doing. I believe it has nothing to do with the olympics. No terror cell can organise such a wide-spread attack in less than 24 hours, unless they had all things in place in U.S, France, Spain, Moscow etc, and then just target the winners - thats stupid, and to what end ?? Its obviously about the G8. For one, I would imagine that 75% of the countrys' security staff are currently on jollies in bonnie scotland right now, so it leaves the back door wide open. London relies heavily on its transport infrastructure, and now that is at a standstill, it causes a ripple accross the country and outwards globally. If London stops, share prices plummet and the pound de-values !, exchange rates suffer ! can anyone think of a better way to strike at the west ! - right in its pockets ! My heart goes out to the families of those caught up in the carnage. I hope that our london members are all OK.
  13. It could be choked up with crud in the air box. have a look inside the airbox and change the panel filter if its really black and dirty. Also, it could have a problem with a coil pack, get them to check each one.
  14. Crikey, this is an old thread. It cost me about 60 odd quid, and cant remember the web addy of the company I got it from. I must admit though, it is easily the best product ive used. Its the hardest, cos theres loads of stages, but its very very good. The only drawback is that you only get one polythene glove with it, and you could really do with a few as the clay sticks to them and makes em all sticky.
  15. Heres just a few more pics of the boot install. Do you like the CO2 and Nitrous Stickers ? :D And heres a pic with the new wheels on. I just need some different nuts (in black) cos these stick out like chapel hat pegs and some wheel centres now.
  16. OK, so now I have the problem of choosing the correct tyres for my new rims. What I would like to achieve is to fit some fatter rubber to the rear tham whats at the front, but maintain the correct profile fron to rear. What is the maximum size tyre you can SAFELY put onto a 18 x 7.5 rim, and what would I fit to the front if I wanted something just slightly skinnier. i think Im gonna go for the Falken FK451, but confused about widths etc. Suggestions would be nice.
  17. Thanks for that. The carbon bonnet looks well with the granite sky and doesnt stand out too much. When the sun shines, it brings out the really nice fibre detailing. I was a little un-nerved when I first fitted the rear spoiler, but I think that was because it was a totally new look, but now I like it, and seems to sit nice and its lines follow the car well. Its all down to personal preference though. The front splitter is the JP Designs Genesis kit from the U.S, which needed modding to fit, but well worth it. The only draw back is that I have very little front ground clearance. last Sunday wasnt much fun, as I ran over a hedghog :yack: It came scuttling across a country lane, and I figured it would go under the car and be OK, but I forgot about the groound clearance, and it scooped it up . I saw a sad faced slow moving old hedgehog as it bounced off the bonnet of my car. Poor thing, I felt sickened for hours after that. No damage done to the car though, at least one of us was lucky.
  18. I will see if I can get some sound recorded of mine. Ive tinkered with mine which makes one hell of a blow-off, louder than a BOV :winky:
  19. Well, the rear wing is fitted, I think it suits the car just right. The Tein is setup nicely, and coupled with the uprated anti-roll bars makes one heck of a difference. The DBA Discs front and Rear have improved the braking by a huge margin, and it will stop on a diime. Im just waiting for the new wheels to be delivered now, and then I can then start on Phase II :winky:
  20. Its been 7 whole, long days and nights since I finished with the fags. And u know what............. Its been easy so far! I hope that the next 6 months are just as easy !
  21. "I want to die in my sleep like my grandfather. Not screaming and yelling like the passengers in his car" "You know you're stressed out when you can hear Mimes" "The secret to creativity is knowing how to hide your sources" "Opportunities always look bigger going than coming" "We may be alone. We may not be alone. Either way, the thought is staggering"
  22. "A sure sign that you are loosing the fire-fight, is a sucking chest wound"
  23. Another job done. The Tein Super Street suspension is fitted, and so are the DBA 4000XS Discs front and rear. The suspension, combined with the uprated anti roll bars make her handle much better. No Roll, No Yaw, No Dive, and she stops on a dime. The wheels should be here next week, cant wait. Ive decided to boot em up with Falken rubber, Ive heard so many good stories about the Falken rubber, so figured I would give em a go. One slight problem though. The pillow-ball top mounts on the Tein Dampers dont half squeek Will Post Pics 2morrow
  24. Im trying to find if there are any replacement front calipers available for the IS200. I can find plenty of conversions if I opt for the larger discs, but I dont need larger discs. Basically, I want a set that will either fit directly, or with a convertor plate, and utilise the standard replacement DBA discs. Any ideas anyone?? thanks
