Meh, I replaced a 2l 50mpg diesel Mondeo with my isf 3.5 years ago.
Despite the extra fuel/tax costs I don't regret it for a minute.
Go on a roadtrip and your faith will be restored.
Only thing I'd replace mine with would be another Lexus 5l.
You should be able to get your money back, but I fear you may regret it at some point.
Those of us of a certain age will recognise the analogy of 'triggers broom'
It's not that I distrust Toyota, but the owners before me. Plus my car was the Evo review car.
I have noticed smoother/qukcker gear shifts from cold in the few days It's been done. Although I expect the gearbox has been reset so it's probably in learning mode.
I'd be interested, maybe a trip to Elan valley as it's fairly central...as in equally far for everyone?
After reading the issues from the last meet, I believe walkies and mobile numbers would be essential.
Thought I'd update this thread as I decided at 116k it would be prudent to get my gearbox 'serviced'
I mentioned it to Lexus Birmingham and they didn't seem too sure, so I contacted Lexus Wolverhampton.
They quoted 2 hours labour and 4 litres of gearbox oil.
My MOT was due so had both done today. I'll monitor how it is in daily use, but glad I had it done.
Would love a grancabrio as a weekender. Can't think of a finer thing to waft around in occasionally with the family.
I can post the luggage in advance.
So in solidarity, my upper drivers side tip has successfully escaped.
Anyone here got one I can purchase?
Alternative is a new beefy exhaust, but I've always liked the rear view of the isf.
Interestingly Direct Line seem to hate me, to the point where I don't even consider getting quotes from them. I do live in Birmingham, so not sure if that's a factor.
Just thought I'd try a quote from them to see what I'd be offered. £864 and I have 9 years NCD and no points or accidents! That's 67% more than I currently pay.
I feel your insurance company may be taking you for a ride.
These premiums would affect all of us if they were being stolen regularly as they're so rare.
My insurance company have never made any stipulations in the 3 years I've had mine.
Anyone else?
Sure, we can meet halfway. Take you for a spin. To be honest, mine was the first one I'd ever seen.
Once I was taken out in it, I had to have it. Let me know when you're free, I'll check with the missus.
Mine may pop onto the market in a few months, depending on what happens with work.
It's a 2010 USB with the white interior but it's done about 108k miles now.
If I do it'll be offered on here first.

Yes, definitely.
I remember when you first had the wheels, and it seemed slightly high. You coming back to Brum, or getting it done locally?
Good news that it won't affect AVS.
Obviously people think you're younger than you are due to your car.
Gold wheels and a wrap, people will think you're 24. You just need to start a youtube channel now. 😆
People will be confusing you with Blackpanthaa who had your wheels in black and a wrap too.
