  1. Just bumping this, as ECP have their 50% discount on Brembo at the moment. And as I need rears, I don't have the option of Pagid anyway. As an update, no issues with the Pagids and they even had a nice session driving around Wales following my mate's GT3 last October, before everything locked down again.
  2. Interesting video especially his comparisons to the Carrera GT.
  3. One other thing is the car doesn't need a full Lexus service history either. So long as they inspect it, they will usually warranty it. I warrantied mine the month it turned 10 for peace of mind. Turns 11 this month and I have a year left. It was also a pleasant surprise that MOTs are thrown in. I'd forgotten about that detail.
  4. May be worth seeing if they'd do group buy. Usually a few looking to get an exhaust dithering. I've been meaning to do it for 2 years.
  5. I wouldn't have my 2010 isf as a weekend car. It's a perfect daily, and I actually love the accelerator in normal, as I drive through rush hour traffic. Becomes tiring in sport mode. I think for weekend duty I'd ideally want an LC500 or AMG GTS.
  6. New 5.0 litre ISF. https://carbuzz.com/news/v8-powered-lexus-is-f-is-coming-to-take-on-the-bmw-m3
  7. Which is why I suggested we document mileage. We're driving pretty bullet proof V8's, not highly strung exotica. Mine has 105k +, but had the radiator replaced in 2018 during service ( I don't know why) and I have warranty until Jan 2022. But I'm fairly sure this issue has affected less than 2% of the ISF's in the country based on peak figures of 220.
  8. Lol i think you may be a bit premature. I think were looking at 100k miles plus with this issue.
  9. Would probably be useful to document the mileage that people had this issue at.
  10. Thought I'd drop in as my 2010 car had a new radiator installed by the previous owner during the 90k mile service 6 months before I bought it in 2018. I dug out the paperwork to check the part number and it is U16400-38H10.
  11. I love how much of a sleeper the isf is. One of the main reasons I chose it.
  12. On the rears yes. I'm on the same set I got with the car nearly 2 years ago. Just changed the fronts as they were beginning to wear on the edges.
  13. I discovered a local detailer, so it's nice and clean.
  14. Nice. What are the biggest differences you find in everyday use?
  15. That's interesting to know. Were the pagid discs branded as Brembo?
  16. No problem. If you scroll to the first post, you'll see what happened when op ordered Pagid discs and pads.
  17. So had my MOT yesterday, and when they rang me to let me know, told me it was just going to be cleaned before it was ready, which surprised me. I asked them not to do the outside as I prefer doing it myself, but they certainly did the inside.
  18. Thought I'd reply to this as I had an advisory against my front pads and discs, and thought I'd check ECP if there were any offers on to install in a couple of months. 40% off at the moment. Qty Part# Description Vehicle Price 2 104822088 Pagid Brake Disc (Front) Lexus IS 5.0 2010 £85.98 1 101821018 Pagid Brake Pad (Front) Lexus IS 5.0 2010 £70.99 Subtotal £156.97 Discount -£62.80 Delivery Charges ( Standard Delivery (free for orders over £15) ) £0.00 Total (inc VAT): £94.17
  19. They will usually. I normally just ask them to leave the outside alone.
  20. My car is booked into Lexus Birmingham on Monday for its MOT. They usually give me a courtesy car, but during the pandemic are obviously not offering this service.
