Would you recommend it as a purchase also whats the mileage on yours overall?

I have been offered a 2010 IS200D at a very reasonable price which I am seriously considering the problem is that there is very little information online regarding its reliability. I know the 220d's suffered from head gasket and egr problems which should have been rectified with the updated 148 bhp engine but there is no definitive information online. I have browsed the toyota forums and they seem to think the updated 1AD FTV engine is reliable if a bit noisy which I am not too concerned about. Also I am aware the gearing is too long but as I will be doing 90% motorway this again does not put me off. MPG also seems to be very good with 50+ achievable. I'm hoping someone could shed some light as vehicle is fully loaded and in good condition at a price much better than the equivalent bmw or audi.
