  1. I didn't think the ultrasonic blue was available in the UK before a 10 plate. If someone has purchased this vehicle they've bought a pup.
  2. I would go for the blue theme also, found this online which looks in line with what I'd go for..
  3. Personally I would go with manufacturers recommendations, Im all for making improvements but don't know enough about implications of upgrading oils...
  4. 2/3 year Lexus service plans worth considering, up front or monthly payment options. I went for 2 year, 1 full, 1 minor service cast was about £750 ish. There were other dealers offering better prices but they were not near me. At the time Lexus Birmingham were doing a good deal.
  5. Smart move to do the filter, especially if it's starting to rust. Looks good, nice job.
  6. What 3 things made you go for an IS F? * V8- it's on my bucket list and far too many milk floats about nowadays. I'm sure we'll all be in one soon so all more reason to enjoy them today. * Rarity/Unknown- I always like to go off piste * Lexus- Was so impressed by the reliability/quality of the IS250 but wanted more power. What 3 things would you change about the IS F? * Plastic trim between the two back seats. Why would they do that??!? * Exhaust- Would be nice to hear more of that V8 and should've been OEM. * Better Navigation/Media Interface. What 3 cars would be on your list if you sold your IS F tomorrow? * Lexus RCF * Lexus RX * Lexus NX (Brand loyal....at the moment).
  7. If I were a betting man...I would say you already have a similar setup (aftermarket intake hose and aftermarket panel filter) having seen under the hood at Kemble. Be interesting to see what's under there. I have the HPS hose and just awaiting delivery of the Tom's panel filter.
  8. I've voted, others are just that little bit further North but l go with the flow.
  9. It's been on autotrader for quite a while at £21,995. Maybe the seller just wanted to offload it. I wouldn't go there personally but alot of car for the money, if you're happy to live with the cat-c, insurance and re-sale difficulties.
  10. Only 2 people in 12 months of ownership have recognised my ISF. I also describe it as Lexus's answer to the M3.
  11. I'm not sure prices will increase any time soon, great cars but like many I didn't know they existed and most mainstream reviews such as top gear/fifth gear have generally pointed buyers in the direction of the M3 etc. Personally I'm very happy with my discovery but I think numbers would need to fall further and/or awareness increase for prices to hold/increase. Its obviously a limited market for the ISF and those selling close to 100,000 miles have to price competitively if they want to sell relatively quickly. Low mileage examples will obviously hold their value better and be more desirable. Would be very cool to have a magazine feature @Big Rat
  12. Just waiting on a venue/date unless I've missed something Stu, can then start to commit and get the numbers confirmed. Definitely up for it.
  13. It's amazing what they sell at Halfords nowadays @Flytvr 😉
  14. I've checked my V5C and there's no reference to black, only estate agent grey, so it's over to one of you.
  15. If we can't find a red ISF maybe we could all chip in to get one of the ISF's vinyl wrapped in red. The only duplicate colour is the silver, what do you think @Flytvr @Big Rat? 😁 😁
  16. Can't help with this but have read somewhere that red is the rarest.
  17. I think this wizardry has been undiscovered because it's (in the main) useless. ☺
  18. Just drove back in this setup, held it for the entire 15 minutes journey. Maybe a little bit more responsive if you we've overtaking but only slight. Will experiment with this.....
  19. Just stopped for fuel and tried this..... In drive, selected upto 5th Gear using panels..... See pic.... It drops out the higher options on the display.
  20. If looking to overtake swiftly, rather than plunging the gas and waiting for the kick down, couple of taps on the - paddle.
  21. I've had this system for a few years, was the same in the IS250, just speedy way of getting a higher gear if overtaking or to slow the car down using gears (if you're not in full manual or sport). Nothing to write home about but it's there for certain situations.
  22. I hear they're looking for a new presenter for top gear @Flytvr excellent essessment, you've just downvalued my car by £5k..... 😉
  23. On the eBay ad the colour looked quite flat (daylight) but in this photo it looks brilliant. Pretty impressive to be in a rare ISF and also... only one in the UK (probably) in that colour. Its out there somewhere.....
