Sold the car yesterday to a really lovely guy who travelled all the way from Leeds to London to see the car. Was very painless as that was the first person who came to see the car. I hope he gets as much joy out of the car as i did over the last 7 years.

Ha yep im used to that, had same issue with my last 2 cars i sold, funny though as the clio v6 is how 3 times what i sold it for And the z3m coupe 4 times the price. Im in no rush though so happy to wait until the right buyer comes along

Hi guys, very sad day but its time to put the isf up for sale. Been 7 fun years and she will be missed. 2008 (58) 106k miles 2 previous owners Flsh Quite a few light scratches around the body but nothing out the ordinary for a car of her age. New nav screen replaced under warrenty and water pump and radiator replaced oct 2020 as a preventative measure. Also have a brand new set of brembo discs and pads i will include. Hi guys, not posted on here for a long time, i am thinking of selling my car soon as am starting building works on the house but not sure what to put it on for as only 1 on autotrader right now and its much newer. Specs are: 2008, Grey 105k miles, 2 previous owners. Full lexus service history, h&s exhaust, had replacement nav system put in from Lexus, and few months ago changed the water pump and fitted a new radiator. Also have a brand new set of brembo pads and discs i can throw in. Am thinking around the £15-16k mark??

My sat nav screen frooze and lexus replaced the whole unit. Think it cost £3200. Lucky i had the extended warranty. Its a well know and documented problem with the early cars

I have the h&s exhsust without the x-pipe and never Really noticed any drone at all.

Just had the 100k service done at Lexus Twickemham. Very good service and all in for £515 which i don't think is a bad price. They did say i need new lower front castor bushes and front arb bushes. Are these best to get through lexus or any there any after market ones that people have used that are better? Prices are around £65 each. With fitting comes to over £800!! Don't think ill be getting them fitted by Lexus as that is only 4 hours labour time too

Im also interested in getting a set this winter, cheapest premium tyre i have found is Toyo Snowprox S 954 seems to get good reviews and around £140 each. If i wanted to get a cheap set of steel rims does anyone know where i can get this from and if i go down this route what would be the best tyre size to get?

£1k a year maybe too much but lexus extended warranty is only £895 for 2 years and inc full european breakdown cover which If worth a fair bit each year itself. To me its a no brainer and one of the main reasons i am going to keep the car and not upgrade to a newer model.

Anyone else feel we are Reaching a turning point With the prices of the Isf? Maybe its because right now there are only a handful on Autotrader and none under £20k but it's feels as though these are now becoming as desired classic. The 2 previous cars i had both followed the same path but after i sold 😬 2004 Clio v6 sold for £13.5 and now slightly over £30k and 2002 bmw z3m coupe sold last one at £13k And now one Is up for £55k. Maybe if i sell now You are guaranteed the prices will double...😃

That's Good to know, my warranty runs out 2 months before my cars reaches 10 years old so was wondering if i Extend it before then

I might be wrong but i was under the impression the extended warranty is only for cars up to 10 years old, so next year the earlier cars will be out of warranty so might See a few more coming onto the market.

Just turned 40, tennis coach, and spent a few years trying my luck on the pro tour many moons ago.

I got a lexus warranty on mine over the phone, just called up lexus Croyden who are my nearest dealer and as it had a full lexus service history they did it all over the phone and never needed to see the car. Been useful to as had the whole sat nav unit replaced with i believe can set you back £££ if that needs replacing out of warranty.
