The newer models had a plastic caps on the back, i fitted JDM ones that had this, although this means chopping the original connector off, as its a different bulb, and soldering a few wires :winky: Knew I had a pic of it somewhere, you can just about see the cap here

i too have the same problem mate, and had the same response from Dmitry @ GromAudio, i guess its a case of waiting and seeing. the only thing i can think that i may try is try a different ipod, i too have the 30GB ipod video. think im going to try at the weekend with my sister new nano and see if it makes a difference Off the top of my head i think that mine is the 13902 headunit and ive also got the ipod video......it must be a faulty unit I don't think that your headunit is the 13902 one. I think that the "13902" is the headunit with satnav and external amplifier. A long time ago, but since the thread has reappeared checked the other day for another member and yes mine is the 13902

nah there brand new dunlop tyres, just crap car in snow. It's definitely the tyres mate, doesn't matter if they're brand new, I'm sure you have summer performance tyres on like the rest of us. Although it is true that a fwd car on skinnier tyres will perform better, the IS on proper snow tyres will be fine in these sorts of conditions. There are plenty of IS owners (and other more powerful rwd cars) that use them in parts of Europe with much harsher weather. The weak link in our cases is the tyres, the type of tyres that we have on our cars simply do not work in these temperatures, and the tread patterns are not suited for snow. yeap wheel spinning like :tsktsk: trying to get the IS up the drive, corolla went straight up......

Cheers for the offer Woz, much appreciated, but its not for the lex, its for the mrs corrola!!......its got a spare just couldnt be bothered to sort it out during the week, just thought if i could get someone out before than...., will put the spare on tomorrow and get it sorted. Got out the car on Tuesday and could hear pssssssssssssssssssss, saw a screw in there, thought b :tsktsk: ks that will be flat by the morning.....so put the littluns car seat into the lex and told her to use that.......wednesday afternoon i get a call from her saying the lexs battery is flat!...she got the AA out, and battery is knackered.....anyway went to halfords as battery is still under warrenty, and managed to get a HD one without paying any extra!! B)
