  1. I'll keep an eye on those if I buy the car, thanks.
  2. Thanks for the response everyone, I'll hopefully be seeing the car today and go from there. Not sure about the colour, purple isn't my first choice but for £1500 it might be too good to pass up on. Apparently the engine is in excellent condition for its 120k. Not fully sure of the interior spec either, this really was a call out of the blue last night, but it might also be a leather. Do the sport wheels fit straight onto the car or is there a conversion needed? Anyway will keep you all posted on how I get on and thanks again for your replies. If any of you do have a reasonably priced car for sale please do let me know, I may not end up buying this one but am quite keen to get one now before my 2.4 kids come along!! rgds Kev
  3. Thanks Mudzs I'll see how it looks tomorrow and go from there, I did look at the sport models but they are quite a bit more pricey. Mybe I can find some aftermarket bits somewhere that will do the trick. I just found a site that supplies V Nova kits/panels.... why? Maybe if it works out I will lower it and add a suitable spoiler. I am just pretty chuffed at being able to own one of these cars, honestly never thought it would happen.
  4. Thanks for the fast response colin. I am looking around the site and doing different searches but I can't find any kits/panels or such like that I could add to achieve the look. Do you know where I could obtain these parts. So far it looks to me like I would want it lowered as you say, bigger wheels and a spoiler. I am also a bit concerned that I cannot find any reference to there being a purplish colour option. Is this right? or have I got my wires crossed (maybe it was green but I am convinced he said purple.
  5. Hi, I am quite close to buying a gs300 which has been made available to me out of the blue. I am due to see it tomorrow but I remember seeing my first lexus, a gs300 sport and falling in love with it back in 95. This car is an n reg so is also 95. Is there a big difference between the GS300 sport and the GS300 that I have been offered, cosmetically if I could and it is financially not too horrendous I quite fancy the idea of having a replica (not sure the insurance could stand and engine mods though) Its a purpleish colour which I am not 100% certain about but if styling kits are available I could be tempted. Do I need to look out for anything in particular, the car is 9 years old now so I am a bit wary but essentially my dream would be to have a GS300 sport even if it is a lookalike. Thanks in advance for any comments or assistance, Kev
