Hi guys, been a while since ive been on here. I am due to have my rear bumper sprayed and thinking (if possible) of putting parking sensors in beforehand. I was wondering if there is any wiring for it to be tapped into as it already beeps when in reverse. Any suggestions welcome. Craig

Forgot to say that it has sat nav but it has never worked for me, dont know why.

The top cam bearing had droped and i needed to get it changed so i had the cam belt done at the same time. The only prob with putting it back to standard would be the head rests. everything would go back standard if it had to.

The car is only used on weekends for fun as i have a works van for day to day use. The cam belt was changed 2000 miles ago

I have just fitted a complete induction kit on mine and i will never go back. the performance and noise was a lot better than i expected. I did have a K&N pannel filter and as Supracharged-IS340 says its not worth the money.

I did ask him about doing a possible bulk order but he said that the time involved is too great for the money which would be around £130 so i guess i got my self a bargain. I will work on him though

No one of my friends owns a performance exhaust shop and i asked him to give it a try, not bad i thought especially for only £30 :D :D :D

Just had this put on today and i could not be more happier with the way it sounds looks and performs.

Looks very nice mate :D I have just had a custom made full polished stainless steel exhaust put on mine with the front two cats removed and a single performance cat put in. it sounds so deep and gives a nice howl through tunnels. the only problem is that at a certain rev, in any gear i a get a rasp. i have been told that this is because of the two front cats being removed, the air flow is fighting with each other to get back in to the single pipe from the two manifolds. just wondering if you have had any problems like this with yours.

Mine does exactly the same mate, rear driver side about an inch, has done since i have owned the car. i have never thought anything of it. -
I have a tow bar for an IS200 only used twice and then taken off the car. You can buy it off me for £130 or make me an offer, brand new it was £240

the car is a 99't but i am not saying to put on a IS200 sport cat, it is a uprated sports cat for improving performance. It is getting rid of the 2 pre cats i am worried about

No the light came on because my cat's are not stopping enough emmissions nothing to do with the duel exit i had that done 6 months ago

I put a different post up about a problem with a light on the dash. it turned out to be a problem with my cat and i am sending out too many emmisions. Earlier today i went to see the company who did my duel exhaust and asked them what the best thing to do was, He advised me to take all 3 cat's out and put one sports cat in. (For those of you who do not know the Is200 has 3 cat's, 2 pre cat's and one main cat) I was just wondering if anyone has done this before and what the outcome was

I bought mine private 9 months ago 99' T, 48k full lexus history, 12 months tax +M.O.T. with sat nav, lowered and 18 inch oz alloys for £10,200 Not sure what the going rate is but hope this helps. B)

Just got back from lexus after Altezzascott scared the crap in to me. They said it was the engine management light telling me that the cat has broken down and is not stopping enough emmisions. they said to get it done sooner rather than later but nothing serious to worry about. Cherrs guys.

When driving on the motorway yesterday afternoon i saw this light on my dash, i think it is to say that there is something wrong with the cat but not sure. The engine does not feel any different but my worry is that it may limit the revs in time to come. Has anyone had this before?????

Are these filters direct replacements for the origonal. if so i am very interested in the K&N filter. where did you get yours tonktedgar.

I bought mine from a company called SQ+ in manchester it was about £35 and does look at home in the dash i can not remember the telephone number sorry. I think Autoleads do them aswel in halfords but not sure
