  1. Hi Lee I was thinking under the engine bay (the covers) or the wheels (carbon effect) but they'd need to be perfect beforehand I assume so seems pretty superfluous first job, second key @ £250 (not lexus prices ) such a great car
  2. Just drove it home today, very impressed ls400 mk4 (pictured behind) is now Sorn, mk3 (not pictured) is back on the road two consecutive weekend trips to Dorset (in the wife's RX) mean neither will get anywhere near a wash until the end of the month... theres something very odd about hydro dipping but I can't help but like it
  3. It's surprised me how quickly it can get to the appropriate speed limit (and not a single mph over) effortless drive, which won't be said of the polishing that needs doing. At some point I think it had a full valet with every grade of sandpaper
  4. Mine has arrived first thing to do is give it a good clean then I have a strange desire to hydro wrap bits...
  5. From the first link I'd definitely take the wheels and the exhausts, can't beat two twin pipes from the second I like the coloured lexus badges, would be interesting to see what they look like in the flesh time to check what the yen is worth...
  6. And being near the sea... Or has it just made its way there now?
  7. Hi Lee not sure to be honest, having just lost my single key for my Accord, making it the worlds heaviest and most pointless paperweight, a new key is top of the list!
  8. Has anyone done anything to theirs? ive looked at threads on bulb changing, window tinting and wheel refurbishing, but has anyone put new wheels on for example?
  9. Can't you fit aftermarket springs/shocks on the Gs450h then? (he says after just buying the car...)
  10. Sounds like my wife! ill do some digging, I'd checked with a locksmith near me who do this type of thing but specifically not lexus sadly
  11. I'd bought an ls last year (£600!) with only one key, the seller tracked both the spare and grey master key and posted them to me free of charge! i think I'll have to bite the bullet with this one but I've been driving my accord for a year with only one key with no problems so far, I was quoted £120 for that key (remote fob inc boot) but the guy never turned up: I've not bothered since
  12. Cheers sure this one has the sunroof and spoiler too very fine line between the two cars it seems!
  13. The vehicle I am buying is marked as SE in the drivers door (56 plate) however it does have ventilated seats, rear blind, and ML stereo system It doesn't have radar lane assist, is that the difference?
  14. Might have to take that one offline with you Lee, I've no idea what techstream is. im putting a deposit down today and the vendor is dropping the price a little too so hopefully everyone is happy!
  15. Thanks just called lexus it's £351 so without a discount might try to play some dealers off against each other
  16. The car price is very reasonable, so I don't mind the extra cost, maybe knocking something off; my main concern is that I couldn't get a second key made, making the car a very heavy paperweight without one!
  17. Hi am I right in thinking a second key would be approx £350 from lexus directly? ive looked at a 2006 but it only has a single key,
  18. Did you sell the original wheels ?
  19. This is the one post I'm scared my wife will find me looking at
  20. £26k is the value being offered in three years on a lease deal so I'm told
  21. I should have zoomed in! having said that they are 20" wheels yet if anything they look two or three " smaller on that car
