  1. Your tyres are ditch finders, change all 4 ASAP. I am running my IS300H on Michelin Cross climate tyres and they are brilliant. They are super quiet and are perfect in any weather conditions
  2. My IS300H is the same. There is a metal heatshield over the exhaust manifold and exhaust pipe. Although all bolts are tight the metal assembly still wobbles about. I enquired at my local dealer if this was normal and was informed "that they are all like that". Perhaps the assembly expands as it heats up to form a tighter fit?
  3. Nice one Andrew, not sure about the winglets (what do they do exactly?). Door mods are of more interest. You list the part number of one side (RR), do you have the part number of the other side (LR)? Also the catch covers appeal, do you have their part number please? I know what you mean about UK parts pricing. Can you share your supplier web addresses in US & Japan?
  4. Thank you for all your replies. I have tried (in vain) to obtain a Lexus exploded view diagram to see if there is actually supposed to be additional washers here. Looks like I might have to get fettling in the garage over w/e.
  5. I have now had my IS300H since April. Love almost everything about the car except for one small annoyance. I can hear a tinny rattle from under the bonnet. On further inspection I have found the metallic heat shield over the exhaust manifold to be the culprit. All the fixing bolts are tight but still the item moves about. I wonder if there should be some sort of fibre washers under the bolts to absorb any vibration. Mentioned it yesterday when it was in for its annual service and first MOT. Lexus tech said it was normal !!! Seems a little odd that a quality product like Lexus would skimp on something so simple. That or the tech didn't want to touch it. Has anyone else seen this on their car? Apologies if this has been discussed previously, but I cannot find any mention.
