  1. Flookyk. Thanks for that. I'm still trying to get the retainer clips out of the pillar. I'm beginning to think that the problem may well be with the head unit as I don't get any sound at all on FM/MW and would have thought I would get some crackling on MW even if the aerial/amp was faulty. Once I've sorted out the back end I'll remove the head unit and see if I can see anything amiss. Any advice would be gratefully received.
  2. I thought I would have received some kind of reply by now. Have I raised this issue incorrectly or does nobody know? I have been investigating and am guessing that the aerial is in the tailgate. after I removed the trim I found an aerial amplifier. Checked connections and can't see any problems. I thought I had better check that I could get the trim back before going any further. I have now knocked two of the retainer clips into the tailgate pillar and can't get them out. I can hear them sliding up and down but can't get to them. Will drive around for a while before having another go, hopefully the clips will have worked their way down and I might be able to get them out and then check out my original problem of the aerial with a meter....
  3. Hi. I have a 2010 RX450h which has suddenly lost it's FM/MW reception. DAB is fine. I'm thinking there may be an issue with the aerial but am having trouble locating it. I have taken out the head unit (Mark Levinson) and checked for any loose connections. Does anyone know if the FM aerial is separate to the DAB one and where it is? Thanks in advance
