Hi All! Anyone had an EGR problem with their CT200? i'VE GOT the 2011 one and I recently had a problem with the engine kicking in; almost as if it was misfiring and a knocking sound could be heard and everything was shaking! A horrible smell could be smelt inside too. It drove fine, just when engine was turning on and off it seemed like it was going to fall apart. Took it into Lexus, quoted me £614 to get the EGR replaced and software updated. Looking online, the US had a recall for these cars with the same problem. I managed to screw them down to £500 but still it hurt man! Anyone else had the problem?

Hi All! I got my CT200 in June and since then, I've been averaging about 40 odd mpg on each tank of petrol. I filled up this week, reset my mileage counter, and suddenly my mpg has gone down- dramatically. I'm not only averaging 28mpg. Anyone know why that could be? Seems like a huge drop to me!Insert other media Cheers

I have the same issue with a 2011 Premier. I have just spoken to LEXUS in Leicester and the guy seemed quite shocked it didn't work it. He's going to ring me back and let me know.
