  1. Full front end pretty much. I've took to negative off for 5 mins. And it seems to have cleared up. Got a 300 mile drive tomorrow so hopefully it doesn't come back on. They have been out in the car and it wasn't on then. I drove to the petrol station fuelled up 5 mins later it came on. Hopefully disconnecting battery has done the trick.
  2. Hey folks. Just got my ISF back from repairs. And I had to fill up. (left me with 0 miles. Nice one.) got 2 minutes down the road and check Vsc light came on. Any ideas. I've heard fuel cap? No vibrations and it doesn't go limp.
  3. Cheers mate. Will certainly be watching with a very close eye.
  4. Sorry guys. I should of worded it better. The dealer is my insurance approved repair shop.
  5. Yeah contacted them this morning. Dealers going to ring me up the morning to get the car booked in. 5 year warranty on the work. Just hope they do it properly! Cheers guys.
  6. I wish I could do that mate. But I'd have to pay for the damage to their car. Plus my car. Which needs a new bumper. Respraying. Headlight. Sensor. Washer container. And whatever else underneath. It'll easy excess my 1100 excess. Such a shame.
  7. Was definitely me mate, I pulled out without looking. All I keep saying is 'what if' but it's happened, and I've paid the price for a momentary lapse in concentration.
  8. Insurance it is i'll give them a ring in the morning. Thanks lads.
  9. Churchill mate, I'm in two minds, I don't know how it works, if I reported it, would they repair their car and mine? And it'll just be my no claims affected. Don't want the car becoming a CAT C though.
  10. Yeah I reckon I will, their cars not too bad, easily repairable, could I not ring my insurance and say I slided in the snow haha.
  11. Jesus man. Don't want it to affect my no claims though.
  12. I'd rather walk haha, but unfortunately got a 300 mile trip.
  13. I'm up in Middlesbrough mate, the worst thing is I have to use the missus' Rover 45 to get to work tomorrow.
  14. Hey guys. Today was a really bad day. Crashed my ISF into another car at **** Tesco. I'm gutted. But it's happened now. Decided to not go down the insurance route. My excess is 750 plus it would go down to a cat C and I'd loose my no claims. I need a new front bumper for starters and I was wondering where I could source one from.
  15. Hi guys, the time has come for me to get new discs and pads front and rear. Any recommendations? Found these. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Pagid-Pad-Set-T1994-Rear-Brake-Pads-LEXUS-IS-IS-F-08-13-/350901567613?fits=Car+Make%3ALexus|Cars+Type%3AIS+F&hash=item51b35d007d:g:RtEAAOSwzrxUtr~U http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Pagid-Front-Brake-Pads-Set-Brembo-System-Low-Metallic-NAO-Lexus-ISF-03-2008-On-/231878267402?hash=item35fd05920a:g:yqAAAOSwZQxW57Ot http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Lexus-Isf-5-0-08-Genuine-Pagid-54997C-Rear-360mm-Vented-Brake-Disc-/301932338387?fits=Car+Make%3ALexus|Cars+Type%3AIS+F&hash=item464c91dcd3:g:PGoAAOSw14xXE7H4 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/New-Lexus-IS-MK2-IS-F-Genuine-Mintex-Front-Brake-Discs-Pair-x2-/301948927841?fits=Car+Make%3ALexus|Cars+Type%3AIS+F&hash=item464d8eff61:g:OFMAAOSwARZXllNg
  16. I'm with Churchill, £600 a year for a 25 year old with a disqualification and 4 years NCB.
  17. Ah that's a strange one, I checked the date of the first registration which was 30/4/210. I just assumed it come with these features, my guess is it doesn't come with the LSD and the satnav will be dvd based?
  18. Cheers guys, such a beautiful car, I think it's the best color, stunning to look at!
  19. Hello there, I'm brand new to the ISF and just had a few queries. I've looked on the internet and apparently the 2010 model was supposed to be fitted with DAB radio but my console doesn't have the button. Anybody else's sound rather quiet? I had music on volume 32 and it was quiet might just me being deaf ha. Lastly for the life of me can't figure out how to connect a device via Bluetooth. Thanks guys.
  20. Just purchased mine today. Never been in anything like it. Can see myself having many happy years in this magnificent car! Ohh and 25 - Armed Forces.
  21. Hello there, I'm currently in a position to purchase an ISF. Just a few queries and questions. The car I want is £22492 it has 58k miles. It's a 2010 model. Is this a sensible offer? I've checked the service history and it appears to of been well looked after. The only problem is it's with Evans Halshaw and they're an absolute nightmare to deal with. Secondly what's the practicality of the car like? I have twin girls who are 10 months and it will be used as a family car until the missus buys her new car, surprisingly both car seats fit in the back no problem as I've read it can get cramped in the back, also the double buggy fits in the boot with room to spare which is also an added bonus! Whats the real life fuel consumption and costs like? It's no big issue trying to get an idea of what i'll be paying, as my last car was a Citroen C6 and they're quite thirsty. Thirdly whats the serviceability and reliability like, are the parts expensive or can be sourced elsewhere? I've read that they're amazingly reliable and mechanically sound just want some first hand knowledge as the C6 has had £2500 repairs in 1 year, I don't want a repeat of that. I just want a feel for things and somebody to convince me that it would be a good purchase as I've long admired them.
