  2. hi, need some help diagnosing if i have a faulty o2 sensor. any garage i spoke to just want to through sensors at it till its fixed, they arnt paying for it though. symptoms are, alot of black smoke when accelerating, mpg dropped 10, no fault codes, regenerating the dpf alot, hesitant, misfire when idle. lambda ratio minus 0.5 to o.8, lambda voltage bottoms out at 0.01 volts on my obdll reader, maf sensor reads from 10g/s to 170 g/s. anyone else seen symptoms like this so i can change the actually faulty sensor and not guess work. pic attached showing lambda voltage dipping. thanks people😀
  3. hi, I have an 07 is220d, my driver side puddle light is not working so I decided to change both bulbs to new led bulbs. passenger side is fine but this did not fix the drivers side, I checked and there is 12 volts at the bulb holder so the fault is the negative switching. does anyone on here know if there is a relay for these puddle lights or is it an ecu issue? thanks in advance for any pointers. mark
  4. same fault with my 07 is 220d. got a bit further as in there is 12 volts at the light socket so it is a negative switch. did you get yours working? it must be a relay.
  5. Hi Guys first time posting on the forum but wanted to share my experience. I have a 07 Is220d for almost a year now with 120k. I drive about 400 mile per week motorway driving. When I got the car it wasn't great so got it remapped. I then got it carbon cleaned through the air box and put some fuel cleaner in it to and still not great. Low revs poor. Couldn't get 40mpg no matter what I done. Monday night I decided to pull of the egr valve and it was totally blocked. The fuel cleaner and 1 hour carbon clean was useless. I soaked the egr valve in brake cleaner and also the steel pipe. Used a tooth brush to get as much carbon off the manifold. Put it all back together and I'm now getting 50 mpg at 75mph. Takes any gear at low revs. Different car. It took me about 2 hours and it's only 6 nuts. Hope this helps some of yous.
