  1. Mine shows the service tech taking my car to the workshop and the MoT station down the road.
  2. Were the lights not on anyway, evening low light?
  3. On some models the heating degree can be adjusted +2 to -2, maybe it's been turned down?
  4. If the suspension geometry is being reset to factory values then why would the ADAS system need recalibrating?
  5. It really doesn't take much to find the new rates, this from Whatcar..
  6. Have you tried this company? https://dogguardsrus.co.uk/custom-made-dog-guard-for-lexus-rx-2008-to-2015/
  7. Check your V5 for CO2 emissions and look it up here.. https://www.gov.uk/vehicle-tax-rate-tables/rates-for-cars-registered-on-or-after-1-march-2001
  8. I don't think any of the boot/bonnet/tailgate seals are tight enough to not allow the thin cable form the charger to pass through when fully closed. The seals are quite compliant. I trickle charge my AMG via the closed boot without issue.
  9. I think you will find many 'luxury' marques have this 'issue'. Mercedes for example supply trickle chargers with their top-end sports cars simply because they know the cars will be driven less frequently. The fact that not all NX owners suffer this problem leads one to believe it must be a usage or car specific issue, for example, perhaps poorly fitted extras causing a parasitic drain?
  10. Higher tyre pressures are required for prolonged (>1hour) high speeds because of the degree of tyre deflection as it rotates and this causes heat and tyre instability. If one measures the wheel/tyre radius on the loaded side (between the axle and the road) and the unloaded side (between the axle and the top of the tyre) there is a significant difference. As the tyre rotates it has to deform/deflect numerous times per mile. This deflection has to be controlled and this is done by increasing the internal pressure to help equalise these to measurements.
  11. Because insurers have no stats on the LBX, so still bit of an unknown regarding repairs costing etc.. The actual power of the vehicle has relatively little impact on insurance, my 470bhp CLS was cheaper to insure than my 170bhp C class (both cars same age)
  12. I thought it was because of the rpm limit on MG1
  13. Click on the three little dots, top right in your post
  14. Mine is showing the 'old' speed limits and ignoring the new speed limit signs, the changes happen in exactly the correct places but with the old limits. It briefly shows the new limit (from the camera info) then reverts to the old limit (presumably from the out-of-date sat nav info)
  15. Do you not have windscreen replacement cover with your insurance? Most insurance with a small £70 excess. Screen would be replaced by a national company usually specified by the insurer
  16. Transferring a private plate to a new (unregistered) car is quick and simple. Transferring to a pre-registered or secondhand car is a little more involved. My dealer sorted everything for me in both cases, only the timescale was longer for the secondhand transfer, waiting for the DVLA to process things but even then it was only 5-7 days
  17. Do you keep the aircon switched on? Any sudden temperature drop in the weather can result in general moisture in the car condensing. The a/c will help dry the cabin air. Damp carpets from wet shoes can exacerbate the situation, as does damp clothing ...
  18. I posted a similar experience with speed limit displayed..
  19. If anything like Mercedes, the total mileage will also be recorded in different control modules and if a second hand cluster is installed before zeroing the mileage on it the cluster will simply display ------- once connected and powered up. A previously reset cluster will adopt the total mileage as recorded on other control modules.
  20. No manoeuvrability issues here, given the great visibility and the driver aids in the car. Parking spaces just aren't big enough for modern cars generally anyway...
