  1. Hello! I just got my hands on a 2002 Lexus IS200 for very cheap and bought it mainly as a donor car. It is an automatic with HID lights, headlight washers, auto dimming mirrors, electric heated front seats, cruise control and many other things. Now I would like to install all of the mentioned things on my other car, which is a 1999 manual and doesn't have any of these. The question is if it is even doable. Is the wiring there for these things or does it need extensive modding to get everything to work. Not sure if cruise control is possible to have on a manual but what about the other things, does it take a lot of work to get everything to fit and work? Thanks!
  2. Hey everyone! I know that the UK and Europe headlights are different and the UK ones wouldn't pass MOT in Europe. I've been looking to buy used original headlights for my IS200 to replace the awful tuning headlights the previous owner had installed. The problem is that there are none available for sale in my country or anywhere in Europe for the left hand drive model. So I have been looking into getting some used ones delivered from the UK since buying new ones from a Lexus dealership would probably cost me like a 1000 €. Here's the question. I really only need the housings, I have the reflective parts on hand (the round reflective parts where bulbs go into) from a left hand drive car headlights so I was wondering if there are any other differences between the two market headlights or is a conversion like that borderline impossible? Quite of an uncommon question but maybe someone knows. Thanks!
  3. Hello! I just recently bought my first car and it's a 1999 Lexus IS200, I'll probably do a more in-depth introduction later on but I currently have a pretty urgent question. So the dash is very dim for me, even when I turn the dimmer knob near the steering wheel all the way to the right. I think there's a thread somewhere with a similar issue, but today I noticed that a dimmer relay is missing from one of the relay boxes (the one on the driver side, with diagnosis plug right under it), so I searched around but couldn't really find much info about it so I went and ordered the missing relay from my local Toyota dealer. The thing is, now that I think about it, maybe that dimmer relay doesn't even control the interior lights, but actually controls the headlight adjustment system right next to the dimmer knob. The IS200 I bought has these new fancy LED headlights installed and actually turning the adjustment knob doesn't do anything, so maybe it's possible that the previous owner just removed the relay when fitting new lights because maybe you can't even adjust these? Why it's so urgent is because I can still say no to the dealership till tomorrow, so that I wouldn't have to buy the relay. When the dimmer relay actually controls the headlight adjustment then I'd just be wasting money. Thanks!
