  1. Thought this was quite informative from the yank club site. Big Rat http://www.clublexus.com/forums/attachments/is-f-2008-2014/381480d1457762736-help-with-understanding-the-isf-engine-construction-isf-engine_story.pdf
  2. @emjay82 Well funny you should mention that I tried to log on using my details, and some message popped up from Trumps CIA chaps saying best not to bother as my Guinness forum picture might earn me fifty lashes. Now being a thick builder I thought they meant 50 lasses..... but a bloke of my age could find that a tad ambitious 😂 Big Rat
  3. The IsF was and still is a big hit in Oman 🇴🇲 🐀
  4. Ah yes colour of the moment thanks to @Paul G our newest Red 👍 🐀
  5. I've got some of these as screen savers, got a few more see if I can find them hope you all like 👍 Big Rat
  6. @emjay82 Mark The four spare wheels I bought recently just look at the tread on the fronts inside edge down to the cords remainder 6mm, it just a waste not checking your tyres before any journey, takes seconds and after all it's the only contact you have with the road, might as well make it the full breadth of the tyre 😂 Big Rat
  7. Always been interested in this tyre wear talk, mines on Bridgestones it's done 9k in my hands 17.5k since they were fitted all four at the same time, there is just under 5mm left back and front and wait for it across the full breadth of all four tyres. Now I use the car in the way it was intended, so am a little surprised at the problems some get. Had this very conversation in the pub last night with @Chuckie478 off of here another Silver 'F' bloke so I'm wondering was it the Guinness or do Silver ones track truer so to speak 😂 Big Rat
  8. Righto then Silver ones in underground car parks is it !
  9. Well done, you won't be disappointed, not jealous about the exhaust........ much 😂 Big Rat
  10. Hi Paul She looks great fella, I'm sure you will not be disappointed where did you get her from ? Brake discs and pads if you stick with OEM and Lexus fit will cost you about the £850 mark give or take. Obviously much cheaper if you buy elsewhere and spanner the job yourself, the pads are fairly dirty but it is a good setup in my opinion and for one not bothered by cleaning. As regards water pump some do some don't once replaced it's a better design apparently but they don't fail just simply weep, had mine done at 30k it's 58 Plate car I've had it 14 months and car has been faultless. You are obviously familiar with the marque so be prepared for a reliable ownership, there are various meets in the pipeline if you are interested matey, this is a good forum but can be a bit quirky at times but I have no idea who that label could be aimed at 😂 Big Rat
  11. @rayaans I think this pic adequately represents how most of us feel 😂
  12. @emjay82 Mark Sent you a pm re wheels a set has just come up for sale 🤗 🐀
  13. @emjay82 Mark I know that the the title on the screen is just a generic banner for there stock but might be worth an e-mail 🤔 🐀
  14. Wise decision the standard wheel is quality item, a lot of the after market ones appear nice but I'm not so sure about the longevity of them. Couple BM's I had suffered repeatedly with cracked wheels (19's) over hard run flat sidewalls, crappy design, and they were OEM. Big Rat
  15. Not as ruinous as the amount of chrome cleaner you'd need for those wheels, there as tasteful as Donald Trumps Combe over 😂 Big Rat
  16. @steveledzep Actually I think you find on both marques it's a delete option frequently ticked 😂 Big Rat
  17. Cake is always welcome, aren't there some places you can go where they put your car on a hoist remove the wheels and put your choice of aftermarket wheel on, less tyres as a trial fit, or is this to much faffing about ? 🐀
  18. That is spooky I met up with another ISF owner today and ran by him that mine had started to do this a day or two ago, rather than take it back to dealers I just thought I'd check nothing was causing it i.e. A foreign body of some sort. And yes it was a previous owner had dropped a pile 11 in total of adhesive screen parking tickets, and it had gone down inside the cowling and worked its way into the 'stop parked position ' of the shaft. Pays to be inquisitive some times 👍 Big Rat
  19. No probs I'll keep a weather eye out, in the unlikely event I see some shall I just buy them for you anyway 😌
  20. @emjay82 Perhaps not one of my better ideas then, I think you are going to struggle with this, the value for money aspect is a difficult one unless of course you employ that rarely employed method known in these parts as ' man maths '. I did consider putting up some pics I found of the ones you want but decided that was cruel so how about this for a detailed car instead to cheer you up 😇 Or how about 4 'F's for sale at one dealer, sadly all gone now and it was Brighton Aus not UK. Big Rat
  21. After all when I comes to buyin cars we are the customer and he who pays the piper........ 🐀
