  1. Ours is a bit noisey. It's a 2017 premium . I thought it would be a little quieter. My dad has a 2003 gs300 and that is much quieter.
  2. Thanks Ryanns, all you have just said it very true , after more fiddling and playing I'm actually loving it now , the volume does have to be cranked up a bit for it to reach it's best . As for the sat nav volume not reducing/muting when it's giving voice commands is a bit pooh , I've never known this before on a built in sat nav but guess just have to get used to it....
  3. We collected out very nice nx300h premium on the 2nd of march and I must say that I had some doubts as I have posted earlier but it's great . Apart from the Lexus premium infotainment system can anyone enlighten me on a couple of things . 1st is there a way to get the music to either mute or reduce volume automatically when the sat nav is speaking ,if you have the music volume up slightly I can't hear her and she is turned up full to no 7 , and the music volume is not really loud both our other cars do this. 2nd the mark levinson sound system well sorry to say to our ears it's really not that good not a patch on the Mercedes or land rovers harman kardon system, there doesn't seem to be much bass or depth to the sound it all seems to be coming from the front. I have played with all the sound and balance settings but to no avail. I'm wondering if there is a menu I'm missing somewhere. Thanks in advance...
  4. We are awaiting the delivery of a new 2017 nx 300h premier in sonic white on the 1st of march. After reading all the reviews and watching all the YouTube videos and I mean all of them , I'm starting to wonder if we have made the right decision. We did test drive it albeit not a extensive test drive and it did seem ok , but obviously not as powerful or as smooth as our Discovery 4 hse which we are trading in for it . We fancied a change as the discovery is rather large, thirsty and expensive to tax/run and we didn't really fancy the German offerings. I know it's a bit late now but just looking for a bit of reassurance. The main concern is the reported poor ride . The fuel economy is not overly important as we don't do much motorway driving mainly just town / A roads ( although I do wonder how Lexus get away with their obviously unobtainable mpg figures) . We did notice the ride was a little firm but most are coming from Air suspension in the disco. As I say bit late now as deposit paid and order placed. But it does look good...
