  1. Hi it went from constant noise on rear to a totally different vehicle, every bump in road made no noise and felt like a brand new car.they even raised the rear height as well, was told moog are well regarded in aftermarket kit
  2. Yes as pressing the bushes out would need specialist equipment and for me it was easier to remove the arm and replace it and by the time you pay someone to change the bushes it was cheaper for me to change them
  3. Rock auto, moog rear trailing with fedex delivery, yes fitted myself, took some elbow to get bolts off but was easy enough
  4. Hi arms got changed over, the car now sits higher off the road and no more squeaking took an hour each side to change over. They cost £200 for both delivered including all duties and delivery.I got moog ones as they had good reviews
  5. Thanks to all that replied I managed to get two ordered from rock auto as I said as yes I was struggling to find a press for these but loads of YouTube vids for plenty of other cars and 4x4s. I have managed to get them out of the rear chassis on a Laguna before today so I wasn’t fazed but hopefully get the car passed when these arms turn up
  6. Thanks to Colin barber on here read a post he put on about us imports from rock auto. Didn’t realise shipping included duty, so bought both sides off there £195 all in. Should be here Friday.
  7. Car has failed on rear trailing arm bushes the ones at the front now while I can get the bushes I am struggling to find the tool to remove them. I am loathed to pay Lexus £300 a side for new arms when the bush is £69, I know I can get the arms from the USA but with import and shipping they’re not much cheaper. Does anyone know where I can get a bush press for my car.
  8. Why not try a radiator company there must some in Lancashire, we have northern radiators in Leeds, if it’s a rad leak or pipe they would be able to fix it, after all it’s just a radiator nothing special. There seems to be company similar in preston Motor Radiator Specialists
  9. Herbie on here sent me a link to an rx450h workshop manual you could ask if he has one for your 400h see if you can see where it wires back to
  10. When you say readings the same was you touching one of your tester probes to earth and the other to each posi connection as it could be a earth issue in the connector cable to ground, or did you find the ground in the connector and test from there against each positive. Could just be a broken or corroded earth depends where that light packs picks it up from within the wiring loom. Run a loose cable from earth on the body to the connectors earth see if it then performs normally.
  11. Only passed on what it did, don’t know why it did what it did but appears a dead battery can drag the computer and systems down.
  12. I’m having same knocking/ banging on full lock same side, although mine is standard suspension from past experience it feels like a cv joint issue which I need to check out, my wheel was physically wobbling on watching while wife pull out of driveway.
  13. So after 13 years the original Panasonic battery was replaced with a new Bosch s4 024 on recommendation from here. In the end it started to manifest a check hybrid fault, cruise control died on motorway doing 70mph, info display for power info died at same time. I changed battery over and all faults have now disappeared. Thought I would share in case any others had these issues. When I tested the old battery it showed 11.67v and 20amps so clearly was at the tail end of goosed. I got it delivered by Tanya for £69.83. Just need a vent tube adaptor if anyone can point to one they got.
  14. Synetiq have a Lexus in may have your part https://www.synetiq.co.uk/breaking-vehicles/details/lexus-rx-mk3--gyl15--2009-to-2015-450h-f-sport-5-door-estate/32518/NX10RXH/
  15. LEXUS RX 450H F SPORT HYBRID REAR SUSPENSION COIL SPRINGS LEFT RIGHT SIDE PAIR £70 eBay i just searched rx450h rear spring it brought at least 5 up. This one was first in search link to that below https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/325226099376?hash=item4bb8fc72b0:g:jKUAAOSwSr5ipHjs&amdata=enc%3AAQAIAAAA4Ds1W92ARfCBCX0KchDOG0BH3aM5vO0xFKh1mOPg9mRokg0uJP6VUGb4JGAsBB%2F5Nw2Jp431a6%2B%2F2U1mpl3jZZIsnYsHDJoNaZB772mTs%2FVnsRimCn1j0gfXpkUdIM9l5CogzLMCHPaB0IL1o76lWIBIhsedig9ivu0crOR98yBD%2FWptFT7n%2FQ4ojw8vijnWQNSlfhNPYo3tUJ6RvZ2h0FTBvz0cBpVvooqVAtOs%2FyQDwHrMN%2Fn7fLTsLUc1mSAZyiKU%2BiI622w84Fd37V3LdwKC5%2BbmsFeYTP8VXEZMrCHz|tkp%3ABk9SR-bkrLz6YQ
  16. Both my rears snapped between 2018 and 2020; both times bought second hand ones off eBay £20 each both times, they are still going strong. At the time they were off 2013 models, easy to fit as well. Another option if on a budget.
  17. I just changed my struts, it stopped this. Got them off Amazon £49 took 12 days to come as it seems they were sent from California.
  18. Yes by stripping the door card off the rear door, had to take mine out as it was rusting near it.
  19. Seems to be an issue with the motor by all accounts, mine did the same as yours then all of a sudden when the weather warmed up it burst into life, that was 3 years ago and has been fine ever since. I had my car in bits boot wise and I couldn’t find anything. Used one the eBay computer tie ins it found nothing I.e. no codes
  20. I was told on here before no unless there is a mod now
  21. This has been covered on here before if you search there was a video, it was leaking on the seal behind the door card. I did find this on a search online though https://www.justanswer.com/car/arm4y-2007-lexus-rx400-hybrid-code-c1259-c1310-com.html
  22. If it’s clicking on full lock mine does it but not now as it’s warm it’s fine, could be your tyres like mine.
  23. Mine was severely corroded when dealer tried one on when I bought it. The pipe comes from tank over the rear axle then up in the wheel arch. If they change it make sure you put some under seal on it as paint that is on it is thin as hell and mine was scratched back to the metal when Lexus installed it. Glad I didn’t pay for it.
