  1. @matt8 See my post above if you are just looking for the software update, it will save you the time downloading the full SD image.
  2. Update: I went through the SD Card image (9.5GB+) that @wakhtar sent me and found the update files. I have successfully updated my premium headunit from VD12104A to VD12104B. Method and link to files below: **I take no responsibility for incorrect procedure by users, all I can say it that it worked perfectly for me** Download new firmware here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1OhHhsIDeF2J1PPLCUyl38O9dRXuu-XkN/view?usp=sharing Format USB drive to FAT32 and extract files from .zip to the root of the USB (there should be no other files/folders on the USB drive other than "LOADING.KWI" & "HASHLIST.DAT") Start car & enter "Service Mode" by holding the menu button and turning on & off the lights 3 times. Select Service Information Select Program Update Insert USB and the OK button should light up. Follow steps on-screen (whole process took about 10 mins max for me) Credit: @pobrown for sharing update method & @wakhtar for sharing original 9.5GB+ SD image. Report back with success.
  3. @wakhtar Any chance you could upload the firmware update? Thanks a million
  4. @wakhtar Based on what @pobrown says about the SD card being linked to the Secure Digital serial number embedded in the card. Could you even just up load the firmware update files: HASHLIST.DAT and LOADING.KWI so that I can try uploading the firmware. Thanks a million!
  5. If I already have a Micro SD installed & associated with my car, can I erase and replace the files on it with new files and perform an update? Or are the Micro SD cards read only?
  6. Thanks a million, An image would be great as it would be a 1:1 copy of all the SD card data and formatting. Insert the SD into your PC and use something like win32diskimager to "read" the SD to make an image file of it. It will probably be a large file so may need sharing through mega or other filesharing site.
  7. Could anyone post the latest firmware (VD12104B??)? @wakhtar could you possibly post an image of the SD Card to see if I could update my system? I am having probs with my oneplus 3 since updating to Oreo. Thanks all!
  8. I just took delivery of my 2014 is300h and was about to update the firmware provided by @daveevans91 which was named VD12103A when I checked the installed firmware: My system gave me this "Current: VD12104A" so it looks like I have a newer update installed already By the looks of things, (and assuming Lexus name firmwares sequentially) there is a newer firmware than listed in this thread. I have no comparison to go on as I just got the car so I cannot tell you if anything has been changed/fixed. Is my logic sound?!
  9. Gentleman! I imagine I will still need it then so please send it on when it suits, I am taking delivery next week. Do you know: Are there different software versions for different media system versions? According to the screenshots here: the car I am getting has the "Lexus Premium Navigation" and is controlled by a mouse pad thing rather than a wheel! Thanks again, The Capt
  10. Hi Guys, New member here, joined because of this thread!! I am about to take delivery of (a new to me) 2014 Lexus IS300H Luxury Spec and I will be looking to update the firmware when it arrives, Is there now any method to get the update files since lexus re-jigged their website? Any help/advice would be really appreciated! The Capt
