  1. Roger that will get the belts changed ASAP. Thanks guys.
  2. Bought the car yesterday, full service history (stamps) but went independent shops @ 50k. Its doing 96K now, and no proof of belt changes documented. Pulled the covers to check condition and I attached the pics here (no thinning, no gunk under the covers) Do I: 1. Change belts immediately? or 2. Wait closer to 100K? (given the condition of the belts) THanks. Car is an 03 IS 200 Sport (manual)

Thanks for the warm welcome and the kind comments. Responding to the quesitons in order: Previous car: 2007 Mazda3 MPS (traded it in for the Lexus + cash, wanted a "long range highway bomber" for commuting in style), FN2 Civic Type R before that Colour: "Blue" (Sorry I don't know the Lexus paint codes as yet) Pics: None taken as yet, but grabbed a pic off the Autotrader ad. Immediate plans are timing belt change (96k and no evidence of being changed), respray (some corrosion), side skirts, black housing headlights. And that's about it other than maintenance / restoration. Not sure about a Japspeed cat back exhaust...would hate to ruin the car's natural smoothness.
