  1. Well, £80 is nearly 150 quid less then in Sweden :). Where can I order from?
  2. My left foglight on my IS200 went out a month ago and I finally took the time to look at it. A friend of mine who's a mechanic removed the foglight housing and found that the bulb was'nt broken but the housing plastic was just falling apart. I went to my toyota dealer and asked them why this had happaned. At first he said that I had installed a way to powerfull bulb, when I told him that the only work that had been done was at their shop and that the bulb has'nt been changed from stock he looked at it again and then told me it was because a impact to the front. I asked him how I could get that kind of damage whitout any markings on the lights or the front. There was'nt any signs of an impact damage. The housing is full of small pieces of plastic and water. He then gave me a price for the left side housing: 3190 kr (£227) Since I live in Sweden I would like to how the spearparts cost are in the Uk and an opinion about the bad quality of the housing would also be appreciated. The car is a '00 IS 200 with about 86.000 km. /cheers
  3. Hi, does anyone now the measurements for the trunk, I need to now the size of the inner part of the trunk, between the wheelhouses. Width, height, and depth. Since my car is away for rekonditioning and tinting for the weak I can't measure it myself. Thankful for quick response!
  4. I´m planing to have a sub fitted too. The response I got from my local sound guy was to remove the original headunit and buy a aftermarket cd-player and then install seperate amps for the front system and a more powerfull amp for the subs. But I was'nt that found of throwing away my lexus headunit so the idea of taking signals from the back speaker was born :). I found the subs I wan't (Sony Xplod 10") but are still looking for a good and nice looking amp in the price range of £200-300. About the placement: Since I'm doing a 2x10" install and still wan't to have room for my golf bag :) I'm gonna place them in the trunk against the rear seats, with speakers facing out the trunk. But if you wan't a discrete install you can always get a open air sub and make it face through the skihatch. A question though, how do i easiest run power wires to the trunk. 12+ from the battery and from the ignition? It should be at least half decent install, no wires laying around. :D BTW. I really like this forum, there is'nt that meny lexus owners here in Sweden and nothing beats this forum when it comes to lexus. Even beats my lexus dealer.
