  1. Niiiice!! Looks like we'll have a few attendees then.
  2. So, I'll preface this by saying that Caffeine and Machine is awesome but it's often so overcrowded that it loses any sense of intimacy and you are just one of a massive crowd. I'm looking fir a different feel what we are the showpiece. Leave it with me.
  3. Best clear all weekends for two months then 😁😁
  4. Always open to the original members my good man. Although you have to park at the back 😜
  5. Hi everyone! So.... last time I planned a meet was the Derbyshire tour when my son ended up being born 3 months early the day before the event so I couldn't attend! Equal measures of joy and sadness that day 😁😢 Anyway, its about time I did another one so planning to do something in March or April next year. We seem to have members in a huge split of locations across the UK but talking to a few of my mates in the states who regularly do 12 and 14 hour drives to get to one day events then we should all be able to manage a nice central (midlandsish) UK location. Taking some feedback from the Derbyshire event it seems that lots of people got lost before they'd even left Derby so perhaps I was a little ambitious with my plans. With that in mind I'm thinking of doing a single central location for the meet and we can then arrange northbound and southbound group drives on the way to and from the event for our various members. Thinking of a nice cafe, restaurant, hotel or stately home with ample allocated parking and decent food as the central location with some good A roads to and from for us all. So, just a show of hands at this stage, who's in?!?
  6. Big Rat has owned both. Seem to recall the message was you know where to come if you want reliability as mileage increases and it ain't the German one. The reason you feel like that about your RCF is cos nothing beats an ISF 😁
  7. Its 50:50 on whether the flap mod is a good or bad mod. The heat soak thing is a myth, the flap opens straight into the engine bay anyway and we have a MAF so the mixture is adjusted accordingly based on IAT. It does sound better lower down with the mod but you lose the sudden two stage noise as the chewbacca growl starts lower down and builds gradually rather than just suddenly arriving at 3.5k. RR racing intake totally deletes the actuator so if they are happy then so am I. My custom box will do the same but will have a much larger chamber and better air feeds from more places so till then I'll run with the flap delete mod and the Takeda which gives me what I want for now..... Noise!!
  8. Thanks bud. I'll keep you posted once I get a second opinion 😊👍😊
  9. Definitely some useful info there Wayne, thanks bud!! I'm suffering with a bit of Rattly McRattly Rack!! 😩 Feels like when your drop links have gone on your BMW 3 series. You just get a loose rattly getting through the steering wheel when going slow over bumps or uneven ground, not there at speed. Lexus says it could be play in the stab links, track rod ends, rack ends or the rack itself. About a grand to do the first 3, about 3 grand to do the rack but it comes with rack ends. My thoughts were do the first 2 and if the noise is still there do the rack and rack ends. Maybe second hand like you say though. Lexus reckon there is a small amount of play in them all 🤔🤔🤔 Hmmmmm, I reckon there's a small amount of bollo# and an opportunity to charge someone the earth! Defo seeking a second opinion before I take the plunge.
  10. You'll never look back!! Ohlins plus custom valving (Figs from the US) plus shipping plus fitting isn't far off what I paid for the airlift. Made the decision easy for me. Plus the fact that airlift is cool as f###!! 😉
  11. Freshly washed on each occasion mate! Got a few more CF upgrades to go on (bonnet and rear bumper spats) then defo want headers and a different exhaust plus I've got a design for a custom airbox that'll be perfected with a bit of input from Rich "induction" Twells. The man Twellsie has a custom (UK cracked) map on his in testing as we speak so wanna take a look at that too. Not keen on the supercharger as by all accounts (like you say), you just end up with an undriveable car unless you wanna go wide body or just use it on the track, neither of which appeal. Sorry to all the performance-first boys and girls but mine is looks first, noise next and everything else after that. Keen on a stereo upgrade too but that's last on my list. Sadly it looks like I'll need a new steering rack before most of the above though. Good job I put the cash for the warranty Lexus wouldn't give me into a savings account 😁😁, totally fine with that after 2.5 years of very happy, flat out most of the time, motoring!!
  12. Soooo.... Rear diffuser is a genuine Tom's one sourced from eBay but from a UK seller who bought it but then wanted a Wald one so sold it on. Paid pretty much full RRP but minus shipping and import costs. Front lip is an eBay job (Lexon copy I think) direct from either Japan or the states, can't remember which. Its the lowest profile one I could find. Given my ride height is so low and its likely to end up shredded I didn't want to pay Tom's or Novel money. Was about £250 plus £50 shipping then about £60 or so import tax. Love the yellow fogs! One of my last mods too!! If you are on Insta you'll find a load more pics of mine on there as I've made the various mods (@isf_dan). Looking forward to seeing your updates. I live down south now but proper home is Carlisle so I'll let you know next time I'm back up with the car. Just a quick blast along the A69 to head over your way!!
  13. 2.5 years into my ISF now and still love it just as much as the day I bought it, If not even more. Quite a few mods so far with some more to come once it stops being so cold/wet outside. Here's a shot from when i'd not had it long (with just one or two subtle mods) to a couple of shots of it now with a quite a few more additions. I think these are pretty low res images so may upload a few better ones if they don't come out great. Enjoy!!
  14. Be interested to see if that crops up. Maybe be another auction casualty.
  15. Same decision making prices on mine too. Neededfoor doors, didn't want an M3 or a C63, and most importantly, Ilike my cars on my driveway and not on a ramp with a technician telling me it'll be a grand to fix it. A very easy choice. You'll love it once it stops raining up there...... So like, March or something 😭😭
  16. I think I probably did. My elbow torque settings were set to high!! Blue still looks better though, get em changed 😎
  17. ASH Auto silicone hoses on ebay mate. 90 ID 15 degree elbow but you need to cut it down loads and a 102 / 90 reducer but again you need to cut it down loads. Did mine with a hacksaw, should have drawn a line and used a Stanley blade. 😎😎
