  1. My IS is the SE type, aly ideas there I can get the Metal Sill plates that u get on the sport from, and how much. Saw some on e-bay for £60, but that was only for the front 2!
  2. A lot of companies won't insure the actual mods. If you have a crash they normally let you take them off before the car is repaired so it's only a big problem if your car is stolen. Coming from a Nissan 200sx back ground, If you stack a car which has been modded, they're with in there right not to pay out as your driving a higher perfomance car than what you paying for. I pay £650 FC with Tescos and I'm 22.
  3. Coolie Thought that was probably it, just a tad worried with all the Gearbox stories :o
  4. After a drive in the IS200, it always makes a ticking a popping noise, wether the engine is on or off. I think it could be the gearbox as when i move it over to the 5/6th side of the box, it makes makes lots on noise as I shift it. Any ideas, is anyone else effected by this?
  5. Please, lets see someone microwave their car
  6. Ok, so how old is everyone, I got my IS200 a few weeks back and I'm 22. Am I too young to own one of these
  7. The RX8 red lines at 8500 rpm iirc. Surely they haven't had engine issues already, well nice car though. 350z is also sexy close up, but £6k more. Either 1 over an IS tho!
  8. Hi guys Went for a test drive in a IS200 SE yesterday, such a nice car but a couple of niggling things tho. The cluch made a noise when it was left in netrual, this is no doubt the thrust bearing, but how much would it cost to have either the bearing or the cluch replaced. I also noticed the MPG scale was a bit lower than i would have liked, so whats your average mpg. Apart from a few nasty stone chips, a scuffed bumper and about a 4 inch mark on the back seats, its lovely :) hopefully chips away should be able to sort the marks out. Cheers in advance Paul
