  1. Mileage isn't an issue! I had one with 86k on the clock and it drives like new... Amazing stuff to have. The services intervals are on Lexus website... I would strongly advise you to check the service history before you go ahead with the deal. Wish you good and welcome to the club [emoji3] Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  2. I agree with Ryan... Actually it is the viscosity of the oil that matters with hybrid run engines... The thinner the better. I have dug into Prius engines and 0w20 is highly recommended because of the nature of the engine... Even if you go to Lexus for servicing and ask them which oil they are going to use the answer would be 0w20. On the other side the manual does permit you with other grades... There's nothing wrong with other grades... But the question is which of them is the best... Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  3. Okay. Even from the Toyota shop the oil is cheaper than the Lexus one if one is concerned about the oil being fake on Ebay... So I would go for the Toyota 0w20 rather than Lexus. Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  4. But Toyota one is available in 43£ for 5l from Ebay... Much cheaper than lexus trade mark... I know a mechanic who does the service for me and infront of my eyes. I just have to provide him with all the parts. He would take his labor and service is done... This is the most suitable way of servicing I have found... Even the main dealers sometimes would charge you for a thong without even doing it. I know few cases about Toyota ons but I don't know about Lexus. But they are the same basically, aren't they? 6. There might be a thread already about the best engine oil for is300h. If so, accept my apologies. I am looking for the best engine oil for is300h... I have read on forums that 0W-20 is the best for hybrids (meaning by that prius). But my service book gives me quite a few options including the above mentioned. I am still confused if Toyota 0w20 would work fine for Is300h? Can anyone please help me out? Thanka guys! Cheers and Merry Xmas! Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  7. Muddy! I have driven PHEV for few days... TBH its a prius of SUVs... it says 33 miles on EV mode but actually it does hardly around 20 and as far non EV mpg is concerned i had a bad experience. Despite being 2 L machine it would give you 30s mpg. I would advise against it. Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  8. There's no doubt. Lexus stands out in comparison with German cars... but as someone said you cant have everything in car and wife... there would always be somerhing. So i am content :) Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  9. I was wondering if IS300h owners come to one corner, it will be great. Just like there is one for CT200h. I think IS300h should be given more attention than anyother model... It stands right in middle of non-suv lexus models... Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  10. Thats right! I am falling in love with this SE... The ride is undoubtedly so smooth. Mine is non nav basic infotainment.. but i am okay with this... i dont know if lex could upgrade that to premium nav. I would love to have that. Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  11. Thanks matt. It looks bit expensive to me as 400 is only for rare sensors. I heard about mirror cam front and back... it does recording as well. Could be used as dash cam in other words. There are a lot on youtube... Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  12. I would definitely keep that in mind. Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  13. Thanks rich. Can i have bit more details about sensors? As i never had any experience of that. Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  14. You can register online on lexus.co.uk (uk customers) and can find all the info you need re servicing and other features. You can also set reminders for MOT, insurance and Road Tax. All you need to have is your V5 doc which has its VIN and Version. Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  15. Yes White. The ride is amazingly smooth and beautiful. I would say driving is300h on London roads is a big time treat. Yes. You are right. I am thinking of doing sensors... but i have to do a bit of research for that. Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
