  1. its not a lexus warranty its from a 1/3 party. just worried they never actually payout
  2. HI, i would be grateful for your wisdom. I am in the process of starting my Lexus adventure! planning on buying a second hand RX400H. it was/is featured on the sales site on here. it has 96,00k on the clock and in very good condition to a lay persons eye. it has one owner and 10 lexus service stamps. i spoke to Lexus and they can confirm the drive belt was changed at last service in line with thier schedule. i assume thinks like spark plugs were changed at 60K. i am pretty sure its a good buy. but with high mileage and not a car mechanic i am waying up either getting an RAC vehicle inspection (£240) or going with the dealers idea of an extended warranty with MBI Autogaurd....i have looked at their website and others eg Which? guide and cant convince myself it is sensible to fork out for warranty that will find some small print clause and prevent a pay out if something does go wrong. The dealer seems to be pushing that i get warrarnty and not an RAC check which i think is a little odd? would be grateful for any advice on what i do in this position. thanks for your expert advice Matt
