  1. Is it not worth looking at just getting the chips ect done with a mobile repairer? They are very good nowadays and can do localised repairs. I'd follow that up with a single stage polish with a detailer and it will be as good as new. Sent from my SM-A505FN using Tapatalk
  2. Its awkward. Very awkward. Sent from my SM-A505FN using Tapatalk
  3. Might be the sensor that fits in the plastic battery case. But awkward to get in. From the front of the car looking towards the battery it sits on the left. Sent from my SM-A505FN using Tapatalk
  4. Sold my 2007 07 plate back in May for £5k. Had full Lexus history apart from a couple I did. It was in pretty good condition for its age so i chanced my arm on the price but it went. Had it 3 years and paid £7k for it so not bad at all. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  5. Manual has worse economy than the manual. My auto would normally be about 21 around town ( London) but have seen as low as 15 stuck in traffic getting through the Blackwall tunnel. I'd say yours is about normal for town driving. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  6. Really liking the new one it's what I wanted. It's a 2.2 175bhp diesel auto. Didn't really want a diesel but there are so few options when it comes to estate cars. It's the sport nav version with the safety pack and goes really well. I understand the regeneration cycles and how they work on these engines so am happy to manage that. I have had Japanese cars for nearly 20 years now and hope this continues the reliability that I've had up to now. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  7. Sold it unfortunately. Great car and loved it for the 3 years I've had it. Treated it well and it did the same to me. Picked up its replacement last Sunday but didn't want the dealer to offer me pittance for it so sold It privately this evening. Sorry to see it go but i needed more practicality. Fist picture was how it looked after I had worked some magic on it. Second was the day I brought it. And finally it's replacement. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  8. Wowo's crystal sealant on mine. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  9. No I didn't. Didn't realise that was an option on here but I want it gone by the weekend if possible so am trying it outside the house. Have had a few calls already so hopefully something will happen. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  10. If you clay the car prior to doing 2 coats of the wax it will last for months. If it's the double speed wax then it's a great product. The tin should last you years Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  11. No just give the window a good clean is what I always do. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  12. Denso ones. Got them dispite the car going soon. At least the new owner will have decent blades on dispite them probably not caring. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  13. They are 20 and 22" ones. Done mine last week. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  14. Gave the old girl a bath on Friday as she was rotten and I've not spent any real time cleaning the car due to the work I'm doing on the house. Cleaned wheels and topped up sealant. Snow foamed Washed Dried and topped up sealant. All glass polished with front and rear exterior glass given a coat of soft 99 window sealant. Hoovered interior and wiped plastics with ODK cabin which smells lovely. Tyres dressed. Not bad for a twelve year old car. Driven to Norfolk and back so the front end looks like a fly cemetery now so will need another clean this week. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  15. Absolutely lovely. Good luck keeping that clean Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  16. Personally it's something electrical based and that's why I asked if you had changed the battery. Mine had never been an issue until I did the battery and yours until the camera went in but both cars display the same symptoms. Have seen something about the batteries before. It's very annoying Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  17. Have you changed or has the car had a new battery fitted lately. Mine is doing the same since I changed the battery. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  18. Mine was playing up for a while. When I changed my battery I've not had an issue since. You could try disconnecting the battery for a while and see what it does. Another one is to keep reprogramming the memory buttons but I found it didn't last for long Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  19. Welcome on board fella. Everyone likes a photo so when you can upload some. Lots of experience on here so any questions please ask away. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  20. The sealant will wear off again so generally once they start they will need doing again or the sealant topped up at least once a year. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  21. Each window one by one using the switch on each door, all the way down then up again. Worth checking things like your rear window heated elements after as well. Mine have played up since I've changed my battery so I'm assuming the battery is at fault? Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  22. I absolutely agree to it being cleaned up. It's just amazing how many cars will be effected with this extension. Literally millions I would guess. Think you get a short term discount if you live inside the zone. I live half a mile out of it. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  23. Currently as I work in most of London I have to use trains and tubes bit don't use buses as they are vile. I do have to drive to a larger station but once the extension kicks in I will pass through the zone even though the station is only a few miles away. It's going to cause massive rat runs around the local roads as people try to escape around it. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  24. I'm currently considering a change of car for practicality purposes and it effectively writes off diesel even for a few years as it would be worthless by the time it gets introduced. People driving older cars now will really struggle with it in a few years as they won't have the money to upgrade. My is250 gets in now but how soon will the requirement be euro 5 petrol.
