  1. Recognise the colour and Welsh logo on the number plate and there is a scratch just behind the offside rear wheel arch. Did you buy it from Llanelli?
  2. I used Etyres from Swindon who came out to my house and replaced all 4 tyre pressure sensors and programmed to the car for £70 a corner and never had a problem since. I tried all the local tyre suppliers and none of them could code them to the car.
  3. The cigar lighter in my MK3 GS300 is only live with the ignition on as i am going to piggy back off the 15a fuse for it when i get round to putting a dash cam back in. The fuse is also located in the drivers side foot well.
  4. I had my local indie garage who are also Lexus enthusiasts change the atf fluid in my 2005 GS300 last Saturday. I did a bit of research beforehand and the general opinion was to use genuine Toyota fluid which i bought from Ebay. They could only get just under a litre back in but then started the car and went through all the gear options drive, reverse, neutral and then checked the levels again but it only took the total fill to just over a litre although the book says 1.5l. It has been running fine ever since and the gear change seems smoother unless its just my imagination. My car has done 70k and the fluid had never been changed since new to my knowledge. I also got them to change the diff oil at the same time. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Genuine-Toyota-Prius-Auris-Yaris-ATF-Fluid-Automatic-Transmission-1-Litre/112758271898?epid=651236881&hash=item1a40eaaf9a:g:WfgAAOSwJ71aXdkj
  5. I had the same problem on my GS300 replaced the gas struts and been fine ever since, also changed the struts on my bonnet.
  6. My sister has just bought a 2005 GS300 after having a ride in mine and falling in love with it! She has got an issue with the passenger airbag warning light saying the airbag is off whether someone is sitting in the seat or not. She has checked the airbag switch which is in the on position, Any ideas?
  7. I work for an electrical wholesaler and we sell these under a different name and as you say they are extremely bright!
  8. I bought genuine front discs and pads for my 2005 GS300 from Lexus Birmingham which were £190 from memory with free delivery. At least you are more or less guaranteed to get the correct ones for your vehicle buying direct from a Lexus main dealer.
  9. Try using Autoglym shampoo and conditioner i believe it has water softening properties in it and as previous comments have said dont use a shammy! I use waffle towels and live in a hard water are and never had an issue with streaking.
  10. I have just got back from a 500 mile round trip to Norfolk, Lincolnshire from Wiltshire in my 2005 GS300 mk3 and i have noticed an issue with the transmission, When the car changes down a gear for instance when going down a hill or just cruising there is a noticeable jolt and a thud from the rear of the car somewhere? I thought i had seen people with similar issues somewhere but cant remember where. The transmission and diff fluid has never been changed to my knowledge and the car is nearly 13 years old but only done 70k.
