Got it finally.

so you got the charger fitted yet then ?

Charger is in as is all the pipe work and intercooler, had to weld one of the pipes up as it had pretty bad groove worn in it from Nath's A/C compressor. Still using the car for work so just left the throttle body pipe, bypass cable, belt and air box off so I can run around in it. Got a union for my clutch master cylinder coming on friday so I can get the air box on. All set for the weekend though. Can't wait.

No, its held in by the same pin the clutch res is held in place with :winky:

Yes if you read what i post ( you seem to have a problem with this) i have left you quite a few voice messages when i have tried to call you, never seem to take the call, and i have also said why i have called you, you seem to be able to say what you like on the internet about me but not over the phone or face to face, thus making you key board worrier/jockey or what ever, you also need to keep to the FACTS Dave, something you never seem to do, just coz you THINK.... YES THINK i text you don't make it FACT.

Thats just like me saying you got your wife of the internet, don't know this for a fact so i don't say it, only think it.

And if you was to ask anyone that was on the German ring trip, you just might find out who made the call, instead of blaming who you THINK it was, if it was me i would have rang you on my phone as i always DO.

Yes Gord is selling a lysholm charger for Steve, as Tom did not return to have it fitted, leaving Steve over 2k out of pocket as Tom has tte charger kit, that is Steve's, Steve has waited well over 1yr, and Tom has not been in contact with Steve, Dave also sent Steve a email washing his hands with this project some weeks ago now.

And just to keep you all to date with things with the facts, Steve still has not been in contact with Tom (as of 19.35 today) as Dave has just post, and is going to give Tom until Weds to get in contact, or he/i will be selling the parts to get back some of the money Steve has lost (over 2k)

The content and syntax of the text messages are in your style and the timing of them and how the content of the many abusive voice messages you left relates to comments made by me to "Tom's " answerphone also point to you.

The last one "Got you hook line and sinker lol" confirmed it for me. As the lol is a feature of the other abusive text messages you are in the habit of sending me on your "normal" phone.

At best this latest episode is juvenile it ties in with the abusive phone call and message you left me when you were in Germany. At 1.30 am my mobile rang and when I got to it it rang off …I turned it off…….in the morning there was a message left at 2.30 am where you here Gordon whisper "speak to the ******" there is a pause and you can hear german TV in the background then someone in a broad Scottish accent shouts "HELLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO" that number was 07904****** and I'd wager it was Mr Mole as he was the only Scotsman on the trip to the best of my knowledge.

Lots of you seem to think of Gordon as some kind of members advocate or consumer rights champion. I see him more as a busybody and playground bully. Hopefully most people reading this will revise their opinion of him.

I don't know Mat, all i know is Steve got some from Toyota for engine, i know he would have got at trade price, but on the ring trip Stav was talking about the same rods and getting them for Toyota for about £150 ish :winky: that is a very very good price if its the right price :D

Any tips from anyone who has had a replacement windscreen? I know about leaking screens causing water to leak in the fuseboxes in the footwell, so I'll be asking the tech to apply lots of bonding on the screen.

It might be a good idea to have it fitted at one of their centres rather than have a mobile guy do it outside.

i got quoted over£700 for OEM screen from auto glass just last year, ROBBING GIT'S.

so i got a copy one from a firm in Lancaster (windscreens direct) for £170 fitted.

yes i am full comp but with £250 excess and my insurer told me i would also lose 3 years no claims

You need to think about changing insurance then, as most just have excess of £60/70 now, and it don't lose your clams :winky:

mmmmm so this lad has the tte kit and has just done one..... thats bad.

if u had any UK details for him then i would start small claims against him.

He lives and work in France Rob, thing is most of it was done through prolex, and prolex have now sent email to charlesworth washing his hands of it all (prolex got his money of the lad mind) saying its all my fault Tom has done one ( no that he can prove any of this mind)

I understand Steve and Tom spoke in August 2009 and the matter of the level of noise has not been resolved.

Again not true Dave :o Tom has not been in contact with Steve for over 1 year, he still has the tte supercharger kit fitted to his car (that is Steve's kit) and has not paid anything to Steve at all.

wont fit without custom making all the pipework/brackets etc.

and theres better chargers out there if your gonna do all that work.

I know someone with a Lysholm supercharger, looks very much like a tte charger, but much better, it a very good base charger to start with, you would have to custom make all the parts to make it fit, and you would also need some sort of air intake making as its a tad loud, these chargers are fitted to lots of VW's, have a look on you tube under Lysholm :winky:

I hope the 95 constant is your oil temp and not your speed
