This is my first post, please be gentle! I have done a lot of searching!
I have just got hold of a IS250 for the Wife and have a couple of issues with the car. At first i noticed the windscreen washer was not working, After checking the fuses I got a new pump and fitted it yesterday but still not working. I have traced the wires back to the Body control relay unit and there is no brakes in the wires. I also noticed that the fog lights are not working either (fuse again is ok). Do the relay units fail often? Cant seem to find much info on them.
A little bit of digging on the history of the car and I've found a receipt for a new main fuse link that was replaced after it broke whilst jump starting the car. I was thinking that perhaps they fried the relay unit doing this! I've ordered a second hand relay unit to try.
Anyone had any similar problems?
