  1. Now with pictures. I have advertised these as brand new yet to be clear they were put in place and used once (only the driver's side). I decided, at the time, to remove them after purchase and use the old ones up first, then ending up selling the car but forget to sell the new set on.
  2. Brand new set of OEM Lexus IS250/220d luxury carpet mats. Never used. With embossed Lexus name stitched on in gold. For RHD models only Dark grey/black. £75
  3. Here is my CT200h for sale Thanks for looking. Relucant sale after 5 years of reliable ownership/motoring Based in north Gloucestershire. Details in the link
  4. I have a 64 plate CT200h that is swiftly approaching 100k miles. The Relax warranty Ts&Cs indicate that any Lexus can take advantage of this up until 10 years since registration and/or reaching 100k miles. I am sure I have heard/read that providing you have the service before 100k, eg at 99k,the warranty would be valid for that final.year beyond 100k,for example, but according to a dealer I contacted yesterday that is not true. Can anyone clarify please? There must be many owners here with Lexus cars that fall outside of the Relax parameters. Where do you get your cars serviced and/or do your local main dealers offer a servicing scheme, similar to the previous Essentials Servicing costs for older cars? I get the impression Lexus aren't interested anymore if you own an older model as I can't find anything online about serving costs for older, higher mileage vehicles.
  5. The dealer principal was very, very rude to me and sent me packing when I went in to complain. I have left a 1* star review on Trustpilot and have no such back from the branch, Listers HQ or Lexus HQ despite my asking them to discuss with me. They simply don't care. Avoid the Cheltenham branch at all costs. I know of others since who have said similar. The whole Lexus ethos has become snobby too with emphasis on wealth and flicking a middle finger to those with older cars who clearly don't bring the £££ in. Can anyone suggest and recommend another dealer (Swindon or Bristol maybe) or even a Toyota branch whom I can continue my servicing with please?
  6. (Cross over with my other thread about dealer using my car without permission) Local Listers branch have disowned me (the feeling is mutual) as has Listers HQ. Have completed the customer satisfaction survey with Lexus HQ and gave the dealership a scathing review and followed that up with an email. The survey indicated a follow-up would occur if the feedback was not satisfactory and despite that, and my email to them, nothing back from HQ at all. So much for putting the customers first. After over a decade of recommending and praising the brand, Lexus in my eyes are now out of favour and I'll be shopping elsewhere ASAP. It seems to me from comments made by the branch MD, older cars are not viably interesting to them (aftercare is clearly a drain on their profit margins) and if the owner is unlikely to return to purchase again anytime soon, they are a liability and likely dispensible. Money talks, as always.

  8. The manual doesn't equate ti my scenario exactly. The flashing light is supposed to indicate an issue with the monitoring system (likely the batteries) but after it flashes it goes out. Makes sense though. Thanks. Can the batteries be replaced anywhere or does it have to be at a main dealer?
  9. My TPMS warning light has come on this evening in flashing mode. Does this part way through a journey (after a few miles, 7 degrees C) and turns off after about 30 seconds. I own a 2014 CT200h and after 4 years I have not noticed this before, in flashing mode, but it does come on, permanently, occasionally, when the outdoor temperature is getting colder and tirns off either if the temperature rises or if I manually reset the function. Any thoughts please? Thanks
  10. Thank you. Trust Pilot review submitted - publication pending. I gave them a 1 Star review, which is 1 too many!
  11. No specific update to this. The dealer has washed their hands of the issue, even stating "we assume you will no longer wish to use us" and I'm now awaiting a reply from Lexus HQ. This whole experience has soured my ownership, which is sad after owning 4 Lexus over the last 13 years. I bet if my contribution to Lexus's income was considerably higher they'd be grovelling to have me back. Their servicing a 10 year old CT (and unable to sell me a newer one because they are simply overpriced and unaffordable) is indeed quite probably wasting their time and money. Lexus's doing away with the more affordable and previously enticing Essential Care servicing costs further indicates that their expectation that owners of older cars will pay twice the price for servicing (during a cost of living crisis) shows some naivety (or pure greed) on their behalf. The 'customer is always right" mantra is now dead and Listers' mission statement about custimer care and satisfaction being their primary concern is just BS - unless you are buying or having serviced their flagship models, perhaps. Trust Pilot review being worked on. Will give Lexus HQ another week to respond first. Anyone else seen a dip in overall customer service lately?
  12. Trustpilot review to follow after a discussion with Lexus HQ.
  13. Listers have said the case is closed and assume I no longer wish to be their customer. They don't are.
  14. Well yes, I have no reason to lie. During the time my car was with the dealer the steering-wheel became significantly misaligned and the car had travelled approx 25 additional miles. The car's satnav settings had been adjusted and an address had been inputted, the distance of which as a return journey would make sense for the additional mileage covered. Listers HQ have said that the enquiry is now closed yet is unable to quantify the reasons for both of these two observations. Someone at the dealer is covering up and/or is lying. A satnav address had been inputted and selected to travel to - I have never been to that address or had any reason to add it. I last used the satnav 4 days prior and the day after I collected the car I went to use the satnav for a new address and noticed then the history showing the previous entry which is a complete mystery to me. Only I drive the vehicle and no one other than the garage had access to the interior so only the garage would have added this address. I have never adjusted the settings to the satnav either since I bought the car 4 years ago, so noticing this and seeing a new destination added can only mean that the car had been used, with the new settings adjusted, for someone to have driven it, without my permission to that address. The steering wheel misalignment was considerably out. As I have sought professional advice elsewhere, for that to have happened to that extent the wheels/ alignment or steering rack would have had to have been way out or damaged. Listers strangely did not notice this on my returning it to me and later argued that I was fussing unnecessarily and the remedy to rectify this was a cost they were reluctant to spend (despite it being their fault). The service advisor offered to swap the wheels over, prior to even up wear and again I was guilt shamed in to not paying for this - something that was offered for free. To rectify the misalignment and change the wheels around was told should have cost be £280! The whole experience has been sour, nasty and deceitful. The branch has twice now said they are, in effect, pleased to lose my custom despite my 8 years of loyalty with them. At what stage did Lexus feel it was OK to start treating their customers so badly?
  15. Are non Lexus dealers now able to service hybrid batteries? I have been using Lexus to do this annually to retain its annual warranty but was wondering if it would be good to get this done elsewhere even if that forgoes the extended battery warranty. Based on my recent experience I don't ever wish to set a food inside that dealership again and the nearest alternative is 40m away. My facelift CT is 8 years old with 93k and even if I did stay there I'm not paying £500 or thereabouts for the 10 year/100k service next Spring that's for sure. Dropping the much more affordable and brilliant Essential Care servicing package was the beginning of the end for customer care in my eyes. Arguing the Relax warranty is worth having for more outlay in servicing costs doesn't allow for flexibility/choice now; it's either that or go elsewhere. It's clear Lexus is only interested in nearly new/new servicing price hikes, I think. They forget that due to their overall reliability many will hang on to theirs for 5+ years from registration and it seems, from my experience, they are forgotten entities now. And even for used car sales prices, Lexus have become greedy, esp Listers in Cheltenham. For more costly compared to other main dealers elsewhere. Sorry, I went off on a tangent there. But yes, if other garages are now able to service (plug in and read, I guess) hybrid batteries that would be good to know please.
  16. It was Listers Cheltenham. The head office have allegedly done an investigation and have found no wrong doing and the matter in their eyes is closed. I shall now be addressing this with Lexus HQ. Cross referred to this is my other complaint that they have used my car without my permission (separate thread). The satnav settings had been adjusted and an entry inputted by them yet they deny the car made that journey despite the calculation of additional mileage made ties up with that address. The excuse was a valeter may have accidently adjusted the satnav (!!), which is an utterly bizarre excuse. How can you accidentally input a satnav entry when cleaning a car?! I will never use Listers Cheltenham again. Hoping Lexus HQ listen.
  17. It was Listers Cheltenham. They believe that the satnav entry was added by accident by a possible valeter when cleaning the dashboard!!! I'm at a loss for words to understand where that excuse got dreamt up and why such an excuse was even forthcoming. Clearly they felt I was born yesterday. The satnav address is the same number of miles from the dealership to account for the extra mileage driven but they are denying that too. They also deny damaging my wheel/steering rack indicating that moving wheels from front ti back will always throw steering wheel alignment out. A) No it doesn't B) It wasn't right to return the car to me without checking anyway. Avoid Listers Cheltenham like plague. The branch manager and nor the area manager want to know. So much for their mission statement about good customer relations being their primary goal. Time to escalate further
  18. I only posted minimal stuff to start with to ask a simple, generic question without specifics or bias. I've included more detail for context since. I don't wish any one to lose their job over this, just a full enquiry, answer, an apology and some compensation. Lexus pride themselves on customer satisfaction and currently I feel like the title of a Rolling Stones song!
