Tried it and worked like a charm, not even a dent. Just a really small flathead with some tape for extra cover and The glas just pooped itself out! Thx allt once again! -

So i should go from this side to open the hatch to get access to the screws? Only work from the top end and sides though, as there are a couple of hooks on the bottom edge that will probably break. And also is it meant to break when removing it or did u mean the whole dome? -
Hi all, Been trying to find something like this but havent so far so im creating this one. So i have the model without sunroof and no sunglassbox and wanted to know if somebody have opened it before to change the lights? The picture is from my car and Wonder how im godnatt open it the best way and to ny destroy anything. If annons knows much apprecieated!

Well the arm will just go up and wont touch anything if i gets loose again as ive already checked that. Also i drove home with it freely and wont connect to the tire or something else fortunatly. Guess im gonna try get it all cleaned up and use som rust protection aswell before and cut the metal off and replace with some other metal plate and weld it togheter. The picture might make it look like its gonna hit something but it wont as far as i can tell. Just my tip of luck the metal got broken and not just the arm so i could replace it. And yes its not a big deal if it will come off. There is a fuse u can take out and the light wont blink for the AFS located under the hood opener, 5 fuse counting from far left towards were u sit.

Hi all! Yesterday on my way to work my afs off started blinking and when i got home i located my front sensor arm? was broken off due to rust and all what not. The only problem that i have with it is that it looks like the metal that broke is attached to the steel and not something u remove by bolt or any? Still not sure but if some of u know if u can replace the broken piece that would be awesome as when searching on ebay i only find the other parts attached to the part that is off from mine. For now ive straped on zip ties that holds it to place that is doing its work as the light stopped blinking and all i working but then again not sure if zip ties are the anwser to fix it or just leave it at it is if theres no part to replace it with for now? The pic with red line is were its broken off and also i took a pic from someone else showing a more cleaner view what it looks like.

Hi all! As ive gotten myself a hand on a IS250 manual shift that i really enjoy driving i have a few things that needs to be fixed that is not really a big thing but as i owned a 220 before so i know what should be there. First thing is the trunk compartment in the middle that has like a wall that split into 2 sections and wonder were i could find this for a reasonable price as my local dealer said it cost around 160 wich is insane! Second i need the list? i think its called under the front hood and wonder aswell if i can get this at a reasonable price aswell as it seems to be missing! Thanks in advance!

Well the call was right from all of you and the hefty price of over 3000 aint something im willing to pay for it so i made the dumbest thing and poured in headgasket sealer and so far so good actually and im guessing im gonna sell it asap as evil as u can be and not mention it and get the is250 instead as ive seen its much more appreciated from other lexus owner or is it something i should be worried about that car aswell? I do really like this car if it wasnt for this stupid hg problem but right now it "works" with this in it and runs without any coolant loss...

A small update, i called the lexus dealer and before i even could explain it all they just went with the hg and said it would cost 3000 something in pounds so i was like nope. Then i called another that actually listen to me and i explained it fairly good and they said it could be something else that is making this happening. Im not sure what the english word is for it but it could have a leak for the "exhaust cooler" that pushes pressure combustion into the cooler or something in that way cause he was suprised i had this for like a year and still can drive it the same as when i bought it so its a fairly chance its not the hg and something else that is leaking exhaust into the cooler as it goes through other places that could make the pressure inside and also why most say its the hg so on friday i will leave it in for a diagnostic and see what they will find out. Just hope its not the hg but i can still drive it like nothing, Also changed the oil then this happened and the old oil looks just like oil should look like and the new one still looks fresh like it should and same goes for the coolant.
