Hi Ally, Thanks for your reply, I live on the Costa Brava, in Roses, near the French border. I have a cousin who has a house in Javea, about six hours drive south. Do you leave the trickle charger on all the time? I have one for my motor bike which should do the job. The boot lights are not the problem on my car and I never leave the stereo on, so this would seem to be a solution. Thanks to everyone who replied to my post

Hi everyone, I've lived in Costa Brava Spain for 24 years, and have a 2006 SC 430 which I have owned for 6 years. I know this model suffers from battery problems if not used regularly but I think the lights inside the boot may be staying on when the lid is closed. Could anyone tell me what controls these lights, as I have looked everywhere for a switch without success. These cars are very rare in Spain, my owners manual is in Spanish, and does not seem to have any information on the subject. Any help would be much appreciated.
