  1. Treat yourself to the Lexus door sill light up plates. Also the down projector door lights. Bin off the HIDS and drop in some LED lights. If you have the standard 6 speaker system, which is crap, then get some 6x9's on the parcel shelf and a sub in the boot.
  2. Noticed this a little while ago, but my air con fan seems very loud when running! I'm sure in the summer last year it was never that noticeable. I've checked to see if the air con gets cold and it does, but wondering if the loud fan is a sign that the system needs regassing... Anyone else experienced this?
  3. Just bought and installed these, replacing my Osram Night Breaker Laser D4S bulbs and these are a direct replacement for the HIDS bulbs, these are a night and day transformation! No idea on the reliability but time will tell! I've tried all sorts and these are the real deal. No change to the existing setup. Plug and play.... OPP ULITE D4S Led Headlight Bulbs, Real Plug & Play, 1:1 with HID Bulb, Canbus Error Free, Compatible with Original Ballast Replacement Bulb, 9000LM 6000K Cool White, 2pc Pack https://amzn.eu/d/44MiRMX
  4. No, but I've fitted a ctek quick plug and hooked up several amps and a remote battery monitor and GPS tracker...
  5. Haha it may be... It's a hybrid too... 😉😂
  6. I've got a low profile carbon spoiler on mine. Just thought the back of the car was missing something...
  7. My rear carbon spoiler, easy to install just stuck on...
  8. Great post, I've seen the rear light's on aliexpress, they look good. Was it difficult to fit? Was considering them, but thought my rear camera may get in the way. Which android screen did you go for? I've got the navirider one, bought it 4 years ago one of the best mods I've done, although mine takes forever to boot up. Was thinking of changing it for a more modern one, which can do dual screen apps. Surprised you haven't treated yourself to a rear carbon spoiler....
  9. Save yourself a load of money and potential agro and do the servicing yourself. None of it, is rocket science. All they will do is change the oil and filter, possibly air filter when required. Everything else is a visual check. Question is do they even do that... You are probably better off getting the car mot'd for 45 quid to show up any problems...
  10. This is a common problem, my IS300H battery was replaced in 2019 about 6 months after I bought my car. I decided not to go with the AGM batteries as they are very expensive and I don't believe you get value for money, so I bought a standard battery which has been performing OK. Although I now monitor my battery 24/7 via a wemos d1 mini which reports my battery voltage via mqtt. I've set up warning messages to alert me if the battery voltage drops too low. I will then stick the CTeck charger on. Why Lexus can't use a standard size battery I don't know.
  11. Yes I have the cheap one's too, excellent quality and fit a treat.
  12. Do report back as would be interested in the differences between the two.
  13. Yeah I bought these too, plus the illuminated sills. Nice little upgrade...
  14. Hi Ryan, Yes I believe it is the brake booster pump which makes the noise. My is300h and my wife's ct200h does it on most occasions..
  15. Alex you should do a search on the forum, as I think you will find this topic along with the 12v battery the most talked-about topics! I even put up a post a couple of years ago about the audio quality. I was extremely disappointed with the audio quality especially after spending 18k on a premium vehicle... In the end I fitted 2x 6x9 speakers on the rear shelf and a 10in dvc sub in the boot. Not for the feint of heart as the entire rear seats and panels need to be removed to get to the rear shelf. The shelf is welded in and cannot be removed. Cutting holes in the metal parcel shelf required a nibbler and a wooden mounting board to mount the speakers. The only good thing was there was plenty of welded nuts to bolt down the wooden speaker board. The wiring was a PINA as had to break into the wiring for the rear speakers. I used an amp which accepted high level inputs and also had an output to provide for the sub amp. Also use an amp which can auto sense power on, saves having to run a remote power on wire from the headunit.... The sound is drastically improved and the balance isnt bad considering the crap speakers lexus used...I also replaced the screen with a 10.25in android screen which has improved the whole experience. I can stream music from YouTube, Soundcloud, my home NAS and use Google Maps and pretty much any android app. The best thing about it, it all looks oem... 😉. Anyway good luck with what ever you decide to do.
  16. Wow that sounds like a diesel! If you have changed your plugs I would re torque the plugs as it sounds like they may be leaking. Also check the plug gaps. Could be misfiring too.
  17. Yeah I do agree with you. I was hoping someone was going to say here's a heated steering wheel cover which works well... Then when it warms up take it off... Until the winter.. Lol
  18. Was thinking of this steering wheel? But looking at it, looks like it has lane departure, however if not connected to anything do you think it's going to be a problem? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/193637777599
  19. I've got that, but would probably avoid connecting it to anything smart. If it's a heater surely it just needs 12v's... Can turn it off manually when it has warmed up..
  20. Yeah I'm comfortable in putting in power to a new switch, there's plenty of spare switch places on my executive dash.... Lol
  21. I've found a 300H NX steering wheel on ebay which is heated, wondering whether I can transplant this on to my 300H? Any idea's?
  22. Hi there, I am curious to know if anyone has retro fitted a heated steering wheel on there 300H. Or has anyone tried using a heated steering wheel cover? While it's been very cold, I have noticed how cold the steering wheel gets and it seems an age before it warms up in the car.
