  1. Hi Malc Dont get me started on the main dealer. Suffice to say I will never buy another Lexus as they have been worse than useless. A complaint to Lexus UK was a complete waste of time as well. As you may have gathered Im not happy! My mark 1 LS 400 which I had for 17 years was a much better car than the 460. Wish Id kept it now. Dave
  2. A long story cut short. A misdiagnosed rattle resulted in me buying a replacement steering rack for my Lexus LS 460 SE 2007. This cost me £750. If anyone requires this item please contact me. As its no use to me, any reasonable offer will be accepted. Thanks
  3. Thanks guys, but the Lexus Dealer could not find the source of the noise! Now that the car is out of warranty, that may change. This noise only occurs when driving at this specific speed and only when the front left is going over a rough or uneven surface. Its like someone juggling a bag of spanners. If the road surface is OK there is no noise. Right front is silent at all times. Not having a manual for the car doesnt help as I cant picture what else is in that area that may be the cause, but its definitely speed related. The wheel and stone potential causes have already been ruled out Im afraid. I should have kept my LS 400 like you guys, bulletproof.
  4. I have a Lexus LS 460 2007. Maddening metallic rattle coming from left front wheel area at around 35 mph. Brakes replaced, heat shields checked, steering rack replaced, all ball joints etc checked and OK.. Any ideas would be most welcome
  5. Welcome to Europe's Leading Lexus Club! Please Enjoy!
