  1. I didnt seem to connect with the gr yaris as well as my grmn. May be like you said, i didnt get enough wheel time to understand and appreciate the gr more. supercharger whine is addictive. Though i would be happy to consider it if i ever get offer one at list price
  2. @Pielight have both 🙂 if financially allowed. Dont think you will lose much money from them. as mentioned above, two very different cars. I dont run a gr yaris, instead run a grmn yaris and an isf. Similar concept i guess, light weight fun hot hatch and a gt/sport car. It is all down to your personal circumstances such as the types of road around you, nature of car use, kids, journey to work (short or long) Imo gr yaris will be a better “one car does all” compared with the rcf. That is on the basis of better back seats, 4wd for winter use, cheaper to run and probably offer more fun than the rcf within uk road speed legal limit (if this means anything to you). barry
  3. I dont think it will involve a stick. I might be wrong
  4. You are able to insure this import car ok? only asking as you told me you had trouble insuring this a month ago at your age
  5. @James605agree totally. Would be happy to take on the experience if i am semi retired and have the time and patience. Unfortunately by the time that happens, most cars will be electric or hydrogen by then.
  6. @Fforfunprecisely. From you have posted recently, budget up to 20k.
  7. @Fforfun yes. I think the budget you have posted recently is in a very different ballpark to what i have in mind hence i didnt message you. Sorry.
  8. @Bluethunder qc issue/the niggles, body panel, electronics, interior rattles, seal water leak. It depends on your personality, those niggles will make me depressed and defeat the purpose of a weekend car. +the ballache and time wastage into speaking to the dealer arranging the diagnostic, repair, collection, transport to and from etc.
  9. @Rob RCF yea alpine is great. That would have been one of my choice if i dont have two dinosaurs. Since i have posted, i am put off into evora’s ownership as well from reading reviews etc. o well… will see.
  10. @B1RMA thank you for your insight. Yea my concern is reliability and quality too. I think the engine side of thing should be ok, since it is a toyota camry engine. I guess is whether the niggles from electronics and panels will drive me mad. @Jgtcracer yea i totally understand. I will struggle to part with my F too, the v8 noise, the uniqueness. May be I am in my cycle of wanting to change, try something different as i have had my f for 4 years now.
  11. Anyone has personal experience of ownership? Tempted to ditch my f for one. any one who will persuade me into one or against one are very welcomed. barry
  12. @Fforfun thank you. H&S is good for its price. Drones around 2k rpm. Didnt swap the exhaust, just the tips.
  13. Mine was quite far out as well. Have since changed it
