  1. I’ll need to have another look then. If that’s the case, I could be in real trouble, as it doesn’t look like I got any wheel nut tool for the locking nuts when I bought the car 2 years ago. I’ve checked the glove box and in the under boot storage where the jack is, and can’t find anything.
  2. Unfortunately as the tyre has a puncture, and will take no air, I can’t drive it to Lexus to get advice. That’s also why I’ve booked a tyre company to install the tyres on the drive tomorrow. I’ve never had any tyres changed in the 2 years I’ve had the car, and never noticed, or looked for a locking nut tool before. I’m thinking though, that it might be quite unusual to have only a single locking nut on one wheel only. Which makes me think it could be a corroded regular wheel nut. I’m just not sure The tyre wrench was just slipping when I tried it on the nut. If I knew it was a corroded nut, I’d buy a set of locking wheel nuts, so the tyre people could replace that nut, and fit the other 3 when they do the tyres. Always assuming they can actually get the nut off in the first place.
  3. Hi, I am due to have all 4 tyres on my CT200h replaced tomorrow morning, at home as one tyre is totally flat. I had a look today for the wheel locking nut tool, and couldn’t find any. However, when I tried the wheels, three of them have all regular bolts that the tyre wrench fits fine. One of the rear wheels has one nut that looks different, but looking closely I’m thinking it might be a corroded wheel nut, rather than any kind of locking nut. Could you guys maybe look at the photo, and tell me what you think. I’m thinking if the car had locking nuts, there should be one on each wheel, and the more I look at the nut, it just looks like a corroded regular wheel nut. I’m just not sure. I really appreciate any advice, as I need to get the tyres fitted tomorrow. Thanks Duncan
  4. I realise this is an old thread, but hoping someone might reply. Does anyone know how accurate the expiry dates are on the Lexus sealant in the compressor bottle? I have a puncture this morning, and have never used the sealant before, but it has an expiry date of September 2014 😱. I’m thinking I’d be best not using it and jacking up and walking with the wheel to get it fixed. Luckily car is on my drive. Or is that something that my home start cover with the RAC would cover? I appreciate any advice. Thanks Duncan
  5. Yes, they've said they have a RHD model available, it is the left hand drive model in the photo.
  6. Hi, I'm interested in replacing the original head unit in my CT200h with one that has additional features, such as navigation, touch screen, able to use reversing camera, Android Car Play, better phone integration etc. I have found this model online which the company claims is compatible, and is also available for a right hand drive model. https://www.dvdgpsnav.com/lexus-ct200h-dvd-player-lexus-ct200h-navigation-gps-dvd-radio-head-unit.html Has anyone bought this unit, and can tell me if it's any good, as its a lot to spend if it's rubbish, but does seem good value for the features it has. Also does anyone have exoerience of the company and how reliable they are. I appreciate any advice you can give. Thanks Duncan

  8. Hi, I have only just bought my 2011 non-nav CT200h, and don’t collect it until next weekend. I’m just trying to get organised for the various things I need to do to make the car work for me the way I need it to. Unfortunately, the CT that I found did not have the DAB module fitted, although the button is there, and the solution I’m going to go with is to install the Pure Highway 600 DAB adapter. The visible unit attaches to a dash mount, and is powered by batteries. The windscreen aerial with receiver needs a power feed, but I reckon I can run the cable behind the headlining in the roof and down the pillar to the fuse box without difficulty. The issue is how I get the audio cable connected to the stock head unit. Looking at the location of the audio jack socket in the centre console , it seems like there is no way to have a cable plugged in and have the access door closed. My question is, 1) Has anyone explored a way to neatly route an aux audio cable into the compartment with the jack socket from below, so the little door can be closed during operation. Or alternatively, 2) Is there any other aux in audio socket, behind the dash? I know that I could use the fm transmitter function of the adapter instead, but I would get a drop in sound quality. As I’m also considering using the Bluetooth function of the Pure Highway for my phone and music streaming, instead of the Lexus system, as the highway has a button that will activate Siri, without touching my iPhone itself, I want the sound quality to be decent. 3) Unless there is a way to activate Siri using a Lexus button, maybe someone could answer that for me as well. Sorry for all the questions, but I really want to get the functionality I need, without spoiling the look of my Lexus interior. I really do appreciate any help, or advice. Thanks Duncan.
