  1. Hi all I need to change the dash and ecu in my Altezza (IS200) and need to know if the mileage is stored within the ecu or the dash? I want to keep the mileage as close to what it is now but not sure if I need an ecu with simular mileage or a dash? Can anyone help? Paul
  2. HI all my Altezza came to me slammed on a set of unknown springs and its very low. Car looks fantastic but the ride is very harsh and the car wont go over speedbumps and is too low for every day use. I need to raise the car up a bit but don’t want to go back to sport springs as I suspect they will be a bit too soft. I didn’t really want the agro of coil overs for a daily driver but guess that maybe all that is on offer. Out of the coil overs it’s a choice between the HSD ones or Tein which are more basic but a lot cheaper. Has anyone got any advice for a more usable day driver setup that is easier to live with?

  4. Hi all, working around a few of the cosmetic issues with my Altezza and the worst is the fuel filler cap has broken at the hinge pin. The car I brought for spares isnt much better the hinge pin is bent and the hinge almost broken. I am assuming this is a very common problem with the early cars. Is there a proper fix for this? failing that is a replacement flap for Toyota resonably priced and do they come unpainted? Any advice greatly received I can the the only one to have suffered this issue? Paul
  5. Good call that man. Unplugged connectors clean up with wd40 and all is well. Car gas original screen but did feel damp behind the fuse box
  6. No but has happened after this bad weather. Will check fuse box
  7. Hi guys hate my first post being a problem one but own a 1999 altezza and today on way home it's developed an issue. Was perfect this morning but now the fuel gauge is Showing empty, the temp gauge doesn't work, the outside temp is Show ing E and the auto gear indicator is dead. Any idea where to start looking?
