  1. I've got an OEM Exhaust for sale, albeit no tips. I'm in essex. PM me
  2. Reading the US forums, it's most likely the digitiser. I think quite a few people have changed it
  3. 1) Remove the vacume pipe, start the car. The pipe should be sucking in air. 2) Drive over 4500 RPM and notice the intake sound. They're the easiest way to check.
  4. Thanks, there's two groups on that link? I've joined one and requested to join the other.
  5. I'm attending, but I don't think there's any space on the stand. Would love to join the whatsapp group to meet everyone!

    ISF exhaust

Hey Rich, Let me know if you sell the H&S exhaust!
  7. Are you able to send me a link? I wasn't able to find it. Thanks!
  8. I saw this on my last visit to Lexus: O/S/F lower suspension ball joint worn starting to lose grease recommend rechecking next service/mot Wanted to confirm if these are the correct parts? https://lexuspartsdirect.co.uk/product/lexus-is-f-front-ball-joint-o-s-f/ https://lexuspartsdirect.co.uk/product/lexus-is-f-front-ball-joint-n-s-f/ Thanks
  9. Haven't heard of any long term problems, however it does drink A LOT more fuel - maybe it's me, my heavy right foot hearing the intake at 1800 rpm. It does make the intake very bass'y, certainly turns heads if you give it some beans.
  10. My climate screen doesn't look like that, I've got a 2012 as well?
  11. The newer versions had updated: steering ECU, suspension; Torsen LSD, Daytime running lights, Bluetooth streaming, updated water pump, updated instrument cluster. You can tell its a newer version by looking at the steering wheel, if it has a blue bottom then its 2010+ with LSD. Tyres - look for inner wear. A common issue on all variants. Easily fixed by Figs/RR Racing parts. Brakes - Lexus will charge you an arm and a leg for each axle. Go to Euro Car Parts, Brembo OEM brakes and pads - get them fitted at an indie! Warranty - if you go for a newer version, even if it doesn't have full Lexus Service History, they will accept it after a check. But, all servicing must be done at Lexus thereafter. IMO it's worth it, £850 or so for 2 years. Had a bit of condensation in my headlights, they covered both lights - parts and labour, easily paid for the warranty. Other than the advise you've already got, there's not much that goes wrong with these cars. Good luck!
  12. Congratulations Billy! Honestly, it's totally up to you, some insurance companies require it, some don't. It can bring down your premiums but IMO, what you save on the insurance premiums, you pay for in service charges for the tracker. A ghost immobiliser would be better, approx. £500 with installation.
  13. Unfortunately they won't insure me even after phoning them. Weirdly enough, QMH are much cheaper than Aviva. Hopefully Aviva can price match. That's the first website I check but I've realised something, prices are higher on comparison sites when compared to going direct! £200, Lucky! I doubt I'd ever see that price in London. There's a reason why it's always hidden in the fine print 😞
  14. It's that time of year, looking for a better price on insurance. Who would you recommend? Has anyone heard of or have any experience with "Quotemehappy.com"?
  15. https://www.tdi-plc.com/ Give these guys a try, pretty well known and reliable guys who know their stuff.
  16. https://www.lexus.com/IS500/ Love the aggressive look, but it feels like they've used RCF parts with a new body kit. 472hp 395 lb.-ft torque 0-60 in 4.5s The same 8 speed gearbox from previous units, it seems. Can't wait for the LCF and LSF if they make it.
  17. I think its a similar procedure with the E-brake, be careful though, its verrrrry tail happy in that mode even with MP 4s.
  18. If you want to truly turn off trac and stability 😉 Works on the ISF too, unsure on the GSF. How to Fully Disable Stability Control in the Lexus RC F
  19. Hey Dave, where did you get the interior LED's from? Always wanted to do this as the yellow interior light makes it look very dated.
