Battery replacement is simple. When I first got my 300h I started keeping the key in a Faraday pouch because of concern about relay theft. I then discovered that If the lock button is held down and the unlock button is pressed twice quickly the led indicator would blink and deactivate the key eliminating the need for the pouch. Pressing any key reactivates the fob. As well as enhancing security this measure may prolong the life of the fob battery?

The car was a low mileage demonstrator and it does have a dashcam hard wired in that came with the car. Your suggestion makes complete sense. However I would still like to know which fuses are which

I wonder if anyone could help me? The cover is missing from the fuse box in the passenger side footwell of my car. Would it be possible for someone to provide a photograph of the schematic on the inside of the cover from their car. I will obtain a replacement cover when my car is due for a routine service in the summer. Hoping you can help.

I collected my Lexus ES 300h Fsport (standard 10 speaker system ) last week. It was a dealer demonstrator. I've spent some time getting to grips with the settings and have a question that I hope someone can answer. My previous car enabled muting to adjustable degrees of media or radio being played so that navigation messages can be clearly heard. Is there such a setting on my car? If so how can I access it??
