  1. Sorry meant to write £5 inc VAT. Then the Gold Member's discount on top. Fargo - thanks for your support.
  2. Just a note to say we will be doing nitrous refills at JAE. Gas costs £5 + VAT per lb. Jon
  3. Abbey Motorsport's dyno. Our car is coming along well but don't expect to see it driving around for quite a while! Projects like this and Mat's supra engined IS200 can literally take years. Especially when you are trying to do them around the paying work. Re. problems, nothing too much so far. However I'm sure the engine management will be 'interesting'! The extra space in the engine bay will be partly filled a rather large intercooler and radiator (very important as the owner is not famed for his light right foot!!)
  4. Mat, Mate, surely you've got to have our kit on the monster?! Remember that poll you did on here about it ;)
  5. I getting rather tired with this. Please see below one of many customer testemonials we have received.
  6. Obviously the rotary engine is not famed for it's reliability. However this engine is brand new, not even run in yet. It is built with far stronger parts that the standard 13b and is capable of handling up to 40psi. We have already seen 486rwhp from the same spec block running at 1.2 bar (15psi) in our project RX7 on the dyno. Granted with a much larger turbo. So the tuning potential is definitely there. We only plan to run around 400hp (at the flywheel) on the low boost everyday setting on the lexus so reliability shouldn't be an issue.
  7. I'm aware that there are various stories flying around about our IS200 project car. So I thought I would start a proper thread to keep you guys updated on the progress. The base car is an UK IS200 SE. This car was the first one in the country to have the TTE compressor kit fitted but when this melted the cats and blew the engine up after 500 miles we decided to go for an engine transplant. Originally we planned to use a SR20DET derived Tomei race engine for the project, however it was then decided to use that motor for a drag car we are building. Looking around for other options we decided on the 13b turbo mazda rotory engine from the RX7! The benefits are its weight (or lack of), small size, and tuning potential. The block is street ported with apex ceramic seals. We are running a modified hybrid T4 turbo with large front mount intercooler. We are using the 5spd manual RX7 gear box with custom one piece prop shaft. As I mentioned before we are ditching the power steering and using a motorsport derived manual quick rack steering conversion. The ABS is being ditched in favour of a motorsport biased pedal box with no servo, but fully adjustable bias. This means adjustable braking forces front to rear. The car now has custom AP big brakes front and rear. The standard ECU will be useless so the car will be run on a fully mappable stand alone engine management system. With the 13b being so small and sitting so far back the car will be practically mid engined. In terms of progress, the engine and gear box are in the hole and the custom engine cradle and gearbox mounts have been fabricated. The steering rack is under construction as is the prop shaft. I will try and post some photos in the near future. Here is one of the engine in the hole although we have done quite a bit more since this was taken.
  8. Group buy on the bonnet? £350 each for 5 bonnets. £300 each for 10 or more. Thoughts?
  9. I think I'll start a new thread about the project car. Re Eyelines: Okay price just been lowered to £30 + VAT a set for club gold members! Please give me your suggestions for changes to the design. We want to make products that people actually want! Incidently we can make any bodykit you guys want, also light conversions, roof scoops, half spoilers etc. Answers on a postcard.....!
  10. Sorry, I didn't make this clear. The quoted price for fitting does include a full respray with the removal of all screens, painting of all panels and shuts. As I said the price elsewhere may be cheaper. However, one customer that bought a kit had been quoted £3000 by his bodyshop. When they saw how involved the fitting was they revised it to £4000. As I mentioned the Veilside kit costs around £2,800 but fitting and painting is only £2000. Perhaps we should redesign the kit without the wide arches.....?
  11. These eyelids are our manufactured by us - what do you think is a good price? The graphics are just because it's a demo car and we have to big ourselves up! Wheels and tyres - Front 18 x 9 265x35ZR18 Rear 18 x 11 315x30ZR18 Gives you some serious grip!! Fitting and painting would cost £4000 + VAT on top of the kit. I know you are now probably falling over with shock, but the price is due to the arch modifications and blending work involved, the job is proably 150 - 200 hours. We are not the cheapest but consider our bodywork to be of excellent quality. No doubt you may be able to get a cheaper quote at another bodyshop but it is an involved project and needs to be done right. Any kit with wide arches is going to be expensive. Whereas if you take the Veilside kit for example, which is just front, sides, rear, mirrors and wing, we would probably only charge around £2000 to fit and paint to match. The bumper will take the headlight washers as it's basically FRP. We chose to ditch them as we are basically building a race car - so no AC, no Power Steering, no ABS, no Traction etc....
  12. Cheers for the feedback. We have ditched the horrible GT wing now in favour of the Veilside item. Sorry best pic we have at the moment. The VS wing looks very good on our demo car. Pity no one can see it yet as the engine transplant is rather a long process....!
  13. Hi Guys, I just wanted to get a straw poll as to the general opinion about the Nemesis bodykit for the IS200. Do you like it, hate it, think it's too expensive, a bargain, too extreme, too tame, too wide, too much fitting etc? Price is currently on offer at £1000 + VAT for the front, sides, rear and eyelines, and £395 + VAT for the bonnet. Also what do you guys think of the eyelines. Thinking about doing them for £35 + VAT a pop to forum members if you guys like them?
